We drove 2.5hrs to visit and were not disappointed! Incredible food in a lovely venue, friendly and welcoming staff, a must visit for all vegans, but also for meat lovers too, as the meat substitutes were so realistic

Went twice in three days to try both the Sunday roast menu and normal menu. Absolutely delicious food and very generous portions. Staff are very friendly, pub feels nice and cosy. Great selection of dishes and very fair pricing.

Amazing food and friendly staff - Edit
We ate at The Queen Inn twice during our stay in the area. The food is incredible! Generous portion sizes and good value. The staff are friendly and very accommodating - on one of our visits we had our dog with us. We let the staff know in advance that he is nervous of people and other dogs and they made sure we were sat in a quieter area which relieved any stress we had of taking him with us. He enjoyed the doggy sausages!

Great choice, huge portions - Edit
I loved that the whole menu is vegan but it's just a standard no frills pub. The portions are massive and very tasty. We foolishly went for 5 sides to try as much as possible but there were basically full meal portions! BBQ ribs were a highlight and the crispy chilli beef almost took convincing!

Replete! - Edit
Fabulous all vegan menu - went for the Sunday roast. Brilliant selection, between us we tasted the juicy marbles filet (obviously sorcery involved!), ch*cken balontine, Glamorgan melt and lentil, mushroom and pumpkin seeds loaf. All meals were sooo tasty - kudos to the lashings of gravy and Yorkshire puds. We sampled quite a few starters and the caramel cheesecake for pud (1 serving between 4 because we were stuffed!). Lovely atmosphere, super friendly staff- we will be back!

Vegan pub heaven - Edit
The Queen Inn is a vegan pub which has an extensive fully vegan menu. They have typical british food such as different steaks, indian and chinese classics and desserts with more than generous portion sizes. The food is like a huge cheat meal full of flavour and the location is great, inside is cozy and outside they have a nice area with wood tables and subtle lights. I wish them only the best, we had an amazing time at their place and to be able to have a fully vegan menu that it's not either raw vegan or only different burgers is a bliss for when you want to indulge a bit. Price is also good, we were a party of 4 and spent around 23£ pp with no desserts.

Bloomin’ lovely - Edit
Absolutely lovely staff and delicious food. Classic pub vibe and dog friendly. The menu is entirely vegan so we took forever to choose as there’s just so many options, but the food was great and it’s a real gem of a place. We had the juicy marbles steaks, crispy beef side and hot cross bun pudding. Lush!

Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Visited for a Sunday roast and came back the next day for the regular menu. Incredible both times. They make an effort to source unique meat alternatives. Ensure you reserve in advance.

Lives up to the reviews! - Edit
I have been waiting to visit the Queen Inn for a while now and it did not disappoint! Their menu is absolutely amazing and it’s great to see vegan food so normalised in a pub setting. The staff were very friendly and accommodating even when we turned up very early for our table due to travel. Highlights were the chips and peppercorn sauce, chicken and leek pie, and the custard slice! The portion sizes are very generous too. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Best Sunday Roast Since I Went Vegan! - Edit
Made a special detour to visit The Queen Inn, and it was more than worth the journey, in fact a journey specifically to The Queen Inn of any distance would be worth it. Just an absolutely perfect experience, so much choice on the menu (and this was the slightly smaller Sunday menu), really friendly staff, great atmosphere, and delicious food. Already planning a return trip!!!

Amazing choices and service - Edit
We were up from Cornwall for a weekend in Wales and on the way home we had a birthday lunch to have, and what better choice than searching out the Queen Inn. It had to be done, what with all the great reviews. The staff were so friendly, as were the locals, and the only difficulty was trying to choose what to have out of the vast vegan menu. Phil celebrated with a Scally Wag ale, recommended by the barman (which he loved), whilst we chose. Phil went for the Chilli Beef stir fry with a side of spring rolls and I went for the Hunters Chicken (a chicken piece wrapped in bacon and cheese with bbq sauce). How decadent! We can see how this place requires booking to guarantee a table during the weekends. When we are back in the area, we will definitely visit again (and maybe starve ourselves for a couple of days beforehand so we can fit in pudding too).

Pub grub at it's best! - Edit
Buzzing atmosphere and pub grub to be proud of! All vegan and the gluten free options were really good. I enjoyed the curry and my husband dived into a shiitake mushroom pie and chips. Filling, comforting and fabulous. Book a table as it gets really busy and you wouldn'twant to be disappointed!
