No more vegan chili - Edit
This is a nice place to have a beer and Grimster’s hummus were pretty good, but was told there’s no vegan chili (which was mentioned in the other reviews). Good service and outdoor seating.

Yum! - Edit
There were only a few vegan/vegetarian options but the ones they did have were delicious. My family tried the chili (no cheese), tossed salad (no cheese, veggie club (no ranch), and the cold veggie wrap. All three were very good.

I’d recommend the chili for sure, but be aware it was a bit spicy.

Vegan options - Edit
There are a couple of dishes that can be veganized. Thanks he 4 bean chili without cheese is very good and very filling. Also, the stuffed sweet potato without feta is delicious. Good options where many do not exist.

Nice place - Edit
The waiter was extremely friendly and very accommodating when my boyfriend and I told him we were vegan. We were able to get the pretzels without butter but with mustard on the side, a salad with balsamic vinaigrette, and avocado pesto pizza without cheese, and pasta with lemon, oil, and garlic because the marinara has cheese in it.

another choice - Edit
We stopped in here for lunch. The server was not to clear about vegan. He was willing to talk to the manager about the choices. My hubby had the 3 bean chili in a bread bowl. Not to exciting, glad he had some jalapeño on top. I ordered the portobello hot sandwich. They did cook it in canola oil and lots of it. It felt very greasy.

Good option just be careful - Edit
The veg chili is good, I got it no cheese but it came with cornbread on top which is no doubt made with butter so make sure if you order this to specify no extras that have dairy.
Read moreI also had a Greek salad which came with buttered pretzels which I didn't expect.
Once those two things were taken care of it was good!

Ok place - Edit
They had a couple of vegetarian options that could be made vegan. I had the hummus and veggies as a starter and the cold veggie wrap as my mail course. I would not order the cold veggie wrap again, but the hummus was good. They have BIG portions.

Service Issue - Edit
I was pleased with the selection. It's a bit pricey (using the large-portion-size gimmick), however it compares similar to other places in Gettysburg. Overall, I was pleased to find that restaurants in this town have more than the basic vegetarian options (ie salad).
Read moreService on a Tuesday in April around 4pm with a light crowd was an issue. One server was overwhelmingly tasked to handle everyone in the bar room and the dining room. I would still visit here and note if there is a pattern.
Pros: Selection, Atmosphere
Cons: Service Speed, Price

Veggie Chile can be made vegan - Edit
I've been here twice and gotten a vegan version of the veggie chile (no cheese, and corn chips on the side instead of buttered pretzels). It's really good and quite spicy. It's a nice atmosphere...a good place to go if you're with a bunch of omnivores.

Try the four-bean chili - Edit
The four-bean chili is vegetarian - just ask to leave off the cheese and it is vegan. There are also several veggie sandwiches that are vegan if you leave off the cheese. Portion sizes are nice and service is pretty fast. This place fills up and you may have a wait without a reservation, however if there are tables open in the bar or outside, you can seat yourself anytime.

Cons: Crowded, Fills up at dinnertime
