Plough Inn

Lovely characterful pub in a beautiful location. We sat outside and enjoyed the peaceful garden and patio area. Inside was very cosy although busy so may need to book. They have several vegan options on the menu which are clearly marked. We went for the Chickun burger with sweet potato fries. It was a breaded seitan, a little chewy and ‘bready’ in texture but we enjoyed the meal. Look forward to returning and trying the jerk cauliflower dish next time. We would give the food 3 stars but the pub itself 5, it is a really nice spot. Dog friendly.
