Ok food for cantine

The food was ok but not great, the pasta was only warm not hot and not very fresh. Corn soup with popcorn tasted good but also only semi-warm.

All-vegan canteen, tasty food, good variety, friendly staff

I LOVE the fact that an all-vegan canteen can even exist in my not-so-vegan-friendly country, it kinda makes me wish I was working in one of the offices in the nearby! Its distance from me&its opening hours are the sole reasons why I haven't been to this place more than a few times. On the few occasions I got a chance to visit, the food I have tried was always delicious (and there were always plently of options available), the portions were big enough for me, and the staff was friendly&welcoming. It's also heartwarming to know they are conscious about leftover food - which they either donate to the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, or sometimes put up for sale at a discount on a local food-saver app (Munch).

I honestly hope they can expand, and can open other locations in other, hopefully less remote parts of the city.

Pros: good food, friendly staff

Cons: distance from the city centre, only open on workdays, during working hours

Good food, but no cash

You can feel the good quality of the food, yummy meals, nice place. But they don't accept cash, which is annoying. A part of our freedom is the cash - one way to the total control is to abolish the cash.

Cons: You are not allowed to pay by cash

Lovely & peaceful place 🪴

This venue had a very nice atmosphere, a great place to get some work done but also to simply relax and chat or read a book. Loved the focus on sustainability, and the drinks and meals were prepared with love and care. Plus, perhaps most importantly, it all tasted delectable! I had the Little Miss Sunshine wrap, which they grill for you if desired, and a warm Matcha Latte (the default plant-based milk they use is oat milk).

During Sziget, they even have a special (all-day) breakfast deals for a good price.

Fully vegan, high quality food

I really like it's a fully vegan restaurant and there are many tasty options for breakfast and lunch. There is a speciality café. Staff is helpful and kind.

Everything was nice 🤗

The staff were extremely nice and helpful. I tried the daily menu, the portions weren't enormous but they were quite filling and the food was delicious!

So nice, should be a franchise

Healthy, diverse, delicious

Various options, from wraps, sandwiches and salads etc. to main courses (daily changing lunch menu). Nice location, large indoor space and some tables outside. Every single dish is amazing and looks so appetizing that it is hard to choose. I cannot speak highly enough of this place and I recommend it to everyone.

Healthy, Friendly, Tasty

I been at The Planteen a few times, since they opened. They're still opening up and changing the furniture as one of the staff members mentioned me. I haven't even recognized that is just "half ready" :)

Has a cool cafe and the front and the eatery in the back, with all vegan and healthy options.

The canteen offer 2 starters, 2 soups and 2 mains every day, and various desserts.

2450 huf for a menu, what is way enough :)

I had a pumpkin soup, and a chili cin carne.

The service is great, friendly and answers every questions, they speak perfect english.

The cafe is also nice with experienced Baristas and great coffee from a Hungarian rostery. They only using gf and non gf oat milk and serving home made chai, golden latte and hot chocolate and freshly made juices, I triend the applr and cabbage and loved it

Also had a tasty coffee,
690 huf for a cappuccino.

As the Barista told me, they ll organizing events in the close future.

It was all lovely, will be back soon.

Pros: Healthy, Home made, Wide

Cons: Too good 😅, Not easy to find it (but worth it), Closed on weekends

A home made chai latte, no additives just pure spices, sweet (no sugar added) and warm, with oat milk (no dairy used at all). The staff is super friendly and helpful, love it at The Planteen in Budapest

Chilli cin carne, with rice. A menu (2450.-) was way enough as a lunch. Great to have a healthy , plant based place with such a good menü. Keep up the good work at The Planteen in Budapest

Pumpkin cream soup with some twist, loved the texture, the color and also the taste at The Planteen in Budapest
