It was fine… 🥞

We had a nice enough time here.
Our server was really nice and the food was good.
I had the Sicilian as I wanted something savoury and it was okay.
There’s a dedicated vegan menu but it’s limited.
Also, if you’re bringing a pram you need to book an ‘extra person’. The person who checked us in had a bit of an attitude about our pram (even though it doesn’t say anywhere on the website to book an ‘extra person’).

Pros: Vegan menu

Limited, but tasty vegan options

We had our brunch at The Pancake House and were asked if we'd like the vegan menu, and were given the gluten free and vegan menu. Luckily my partner queried my theory that on this menu all the stuff marked "v" was vegan. In actual fact there's a double page spread dedicated to gf options and on the reverse lives the vegan menu. Sometimes my belly gets the better of me! Unfortunately it's a big cut-down version of the full menu, where the options are mainly dessert pancakes (I'd wanted to try the stacks, and waffles are also not an option for vegans).

We had dessert "Caramel Crunch" pancakes which came with vanilla and salted caramel ice cream, squirty cream and honeycomb pieces. These were actually really nice and tasty, and kept our bellies full for a couple of hours without being stodgy.

You can also get one savoury vegan "omelette" option called "Farmers", a side salad, 4 different types of dessert pancakes, and a pasta with tomato sauce kid's meal.

Pros: Some vegan options, but read the menu carefully, Good for kids

Cons: Vegan options mainly limited to dessert pancakes, A bit manic! A quick lunch only, I'd imagine

Great vegan options

Nachos but no cashew cream but did have cheese and were yummy. But wow the pancakes were incredible, I had the caramel crunch which had vanilla and caramel ice cream, squirty cream and we had maple syrup on the side. They were huge and soooo fulling and just incredible. Had one savory option and soy milk for tea/coffee

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Soy milk , Huge

Cons: Expensive
