Incredible selection of baked goods - Edit
my partner and i visited the last time we were in olympia. we had gotten a full box of vegan baked goods that time, but we visited later in the day this time and they were pretty much sold out. visit earlier in the day for the best selection! still enjoyed our visit and had some great sandwiches off the food menu.

Menu is fully vegan! We really enjoyed the yogurt parfait with granola and cream cheese bagels. Cappuccino and Teas were great! Maple cookie was also awesome.

We love a vegan cafe - Edit
Really good pastries and hot food! I tried the grilled cheese which had some really good slaw with it and everything bagel. Also have had the pumpkin loaf, rosemary lemon scone, and bread pudding. Everything was great and it’s nice having a whole menu full of options. The cappuccino I got had really well-made foam. I’m usually pretty picky with foam so I will be returning for more!

The cutest and best! - Edit
If being an old vintage building wasn't good enough, it's the cutest and coziest inside. The most personable, smiling help also - everyone greeted us. Great coffee, lovely treats, and well priced and excellent panninis. Loved it and can't wait to visit it when I'm in Oly soon.

Stopped in for a coffee and breakfast sandwich after spending the morning at the children’s museum that’s close by. I loved to see how busy this place was! They were still quick to get serve me my order. Friendly staff.

The staff there are so sweet and friendly. I loveeee the scones and the adorable plates they are served on. Their coffee is good but i often find it is super hot and takes like 15 min to be a drinkable temperature. I also enjoy the cute atmosphere, they sell lots of cool cottagecore themed stickers and trinkets! highly suggest checking them out
Read moreUpdate: Their lunch menu is super good! I have gotten the tempeh reuben, oly salad, and smokey's nest. The Reuben was good but i wasn't the biggest fan of the caramelized onion. The oly salad was garlicky and yummy and super fresh. But my favorite by far was the smokey nest, i loveee the slaw that is on it!

We regularly stop at the Owls Nest for a sweet or savory fix from their large selection of pastries. There is always something new and delicious coming out the kitchen. They recently launched a sandwich and panini menu for the summer. This is a must visit for any and everyone coming to Olympia

Maple Pecan Scones! - Edit
I was beyond thrilled to show up to this daylong conference I had to attend for work today and discover that the entire breakfast spread was catered by this little vegan bakery called The Owl’s Nest. WOW. I couldn’t help but try multiple goodies, and everyone at my table talked about how delicious everything was. Definitely going to make it a point to visit the physical location the next time I am in Olympia!

Owner was super friendly and she had a few vegan baked good left as it was almost closing. The raspberry corn muffin was tasty and I enjoyed the thick and rich mushroom cocoa drink.

Must visit in Olympia - Edit
If you are just visiting or passing through Olympia and have only one chance to visit this place, make sure to order everything on the menu and take them with you. Else you will regret later. We went there for the first time yesterday and were really blown away. We had a couple of varieties of scones, a quiche and a latte. The texture, flavors, portion size everything was perfect.

I love this coffee shop. Omg, I cannot express how much. I show up 3-5 times a week. The owner is amazing, the staff is great. The pastries are all made there by them and YUM! Life changing. 10/10 highly recommend.

The scones! The scones 🤤 do yourself a favor and grab one with a coffee of your choice - everything is really good, it’s woman-owned by a local and she has cute little trinkets for sale from local artisans. Yummy, feel-good place.
