The Outside Inn

They had a very nice and accommodating staff. Their food tasted very good. And the atmosphere was pleasant.

Best Western Food in Ubon

This is one of the only western places I have found in Isan region that actually advertises that they have vegan food. The Mexican food is really authentic and delicious. The owner is a western guy and will happily talk you through the vegan options, which there are quite a few although most beed customising.

Cosy, friendly, but food so so

Somewhere out of the city centre located, cosy place. The menu offers loads of animal based plates. I had the vegetarian patty and it was okay, not good. Staff is very friendly though.

Pros: They have alcohol free beer, Friendly staff, Nice garden

Cons: Not much choise, Smoking is allowed, Not really cheap

Thai food is ok but pricey

They have enough vegetarian dishes but watch out for the use of fish sauce. Focus is on western tourists. Thai food is not as spicy as it should be. The small portions are a bit overpriced.
