Good for a curry - Edit
They had a couple of menu options that could be adapted for vegans: falafel burger and chickpea curry. I had the curry and it was good - flavorful and hot. It was a very large portion, which is good after a day of hiking. We ate indoors and there was a relaxed atmosphere and good service. It was just a pity that they did not mark vegan options on the menu.

Vegans with intolerances are out of luck here - Edit
As two vegans, one that needs gluten free we really struggled here. Staff were friendly and patiently checked and double checked with the kitchen but in the end we had chips and an adjusted version of the veggie fajitas, which I didn’t really enjoy. Felt a bit like being a vegan before 2015.

Decent pub food - Edit
The Ormidale is a pub where you could go with the whole family which also includes your dogs. They have a vast menu with a separate vegetarian section. Some of the vegetarian dishes can be made vegan – just ask, staff is very helpful. The food is homemade and honest. I had a burger, which came with onion rings, chips and side salad. Portions are huge and good value. As with pub food, it may not be the healthiest food with regards of the amount of salt and oil used, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. They also have a nice outdoor seating area if the weather is good.

Delicious vegetarian/vegan food. Dog friendly - Edit
Super friendly restaurant, in a cosy location. Family and dog friendly, with helpful staff! Had a delicious bean-burger (big portions), kitchen very accommodating to dietary needs ! Perfect place to sit and relax after a long bike ride.
