Good range of options - Edit
Cool bar/restaurant with a vegan menu. Three starters and three mains to choose from and then there's one dessert on their normal menu which can be veganised. Really impressed with the choices available - felt they were trying to do something more than just the standard vegan fare you get in a lot of places. I went for BBQ jackfruit bao buns to start - a really generous serving size and very tasty. For main, I had the tofu steak sandwich with peppered sauce. Again, tasty and a huge portion. You definitely won't walk away hungry! Nice service, good cocktail & drinks menu, pleasant atmosphere - all in all, I'll definitely visit again.

Exceptional meal - Edit
The Oliver had a great selection of vegan starters, mains and desserts. I couldn’t say no to the tofu ‘steak’ sandwich with sautéed mushrooms and onions and sweet potato fries. It was delicious. I finished with a vegan chocolate fudge cake. The service was outstanding. I will definitely be returning.

Finally a vegan menu in Newry - Edit
Finally, a vegan/vegetarian menu in Newry. Lovely spacious interior on the canal. Choice of starters and mains. We tried the sticky tofu starter which was delicious and served with pickled carrots and red onion - delicious. I had the mushroom burger. It was delicious. Two deep fried portabello mushrooms in a sesame bun with lots of pickled vegetables that balanced out the oil. It was served with skin on fries. Hubby had the pasta which was a bit bland and soft for his tastes. We were too full to try the chocolate cake and ice cream - maybe next time! Helpful friendly service and vegan aware - very easy dining.
Read moreUPDATE- I have eaten here on several occasions. Small group, large group and even a function. Always able to get three vegan courses. Menu changes from time to time. Well marked menu and varied options. Some more tasty than others. Really good tofu and pickled dishes. Now have a tofu ‘steak’ sandwich which was very tasty and fillings. Non vegan friends have also been pleased with the quality and price of their meals.
