I would say 3,5 stars. They have a few vegan options which you can order.
Read moreWe had a social deal, with this deal came the vegan burger. It's not spectacular, but it was good enough. As a starter I had vegan nachos, these I liked. I also liked the vegan brownie which I had for desert.

Fijn dat je hier meerdere vegan opties hebt. Zowel in hoofdgerecht, voorgerecht en nagerecht. En niet alleen maar de standaard vegan burger. Vegan dessert stond niet op de kaart maar bij navraag hadden ze vegan brownies.

Good that they have vegan options and clearly label so. The quality however is poor. The burger tastes like something that has been in the fridge for 2 years and the vegan brownie dessert tastes like ice. Low value for money.

There are a lot of vegan options available. The staff are unaware. I asked for the vegan menu and then the waiter told me that they also has mussels we can order.. The first time we’ve ordered (vegan shelf to share) is was so delicious and varied. The next time we went back we received something else which was way less varied then before. Also the kitchen didn’t made vegan sauces so we received none… The third time we went there it made us decided that we’ll not order the shelf again. The quantity was much less then before, less varied, no sauces anymore. WAY to expensive. I’ve been there once with a group of colleagues. Everyone was enjoying their bitter garnish and I received NONE. I told the staff, before we came there, that I was vegan but I still didn’t receive anything else. Pity because I want to support a company who is doing his best but it’s a waste of my money (it wasn’t 2 years ago). In a year ai probably will consider to try it again. 2 stars for this restaurant because you can see that they want to do it good.

Pub style restaurant with very friendly staff. We had the soup and steak tartar as starter and the burger and flammkuchen as main. The soup was okay but a bit too salty, the steak tartar was really more a salad with tapenade, taste was good. The burger was very good and the flammkuchen came with sweet potatofries on top which were great, the flammkuchen itself was still soft in the middle but the taste was good. A bit expensive for what you get, but still great they have mutiple options.

Really glad that they had enough options. Just make sure the waiter writes down vegan. I said vegan burger and she came back with a vega burger with egg on top. I said it and came back later with the right one and an apology. The burger was good! 2 burgers!! Filling and juicy and big. The fries were good!

Vegan diner options - Edit
I remember the old pal as a small and pub styled restaurant. Typically serving a lot of meat. But it is changed! 😊they have a small menu still with meat and fish but there are at least 3 vegan options available from the menu as a main dish. Also side dish, starter and desserts have at least 2 options. Quality is very good, and the staff is very helpful and well aware of the vegan options and ingredients.
