Great food - Edit
Great meal for our large group of friends with a toddler. Mix of vegans and meat eaters. Everyone had a lovely time. It's a cute venue and is family friendly.

Nice pie - Edit
Had a tasty mushroom pie with chips and veg. Wasn’t labelled as vegan on the menu but waiter said it was. Sadly no gravy which would have been nice. Followed by vegan ice cream (salted caramel and vanilla) they had vegan pizzas on offer and a cherry pie for desert. Sadly no vegan starters. Food was hot and came out quickly. A lovely pub with nice garden (ducks roaming freely) on Dartmoor.

Veg pie of the day was vg, mushroom, leek and spinach and was pretty good , lots of veg too on the side . My vegan boy enjoyed the chickpea curry and thought the orange choc sponge was delicious.

Hearty lunch before a walk - Edit
Of the several vegan options, I went for the pie of the day. Butternut squash and other veg, tastes like they were cooked in coconut oil. Served with well cooked chips, and plain but decent steamed veg - baby corn, leeks, carrot, mangetout, broccoli. Friendly staff, lovely old pub. There's a garden outside with a little duck pond.

Nice country pub - Edit
Country pub with large outside seating area. Chicken run free there, great for kids. They have three vegan main and two vegetarian dishes on the menu, a vegan dessert and some dishes can be served gluten-free. Dog-friendly. Would definitely go there again.
