Surprisingly good

Looked this place up online and wasn’t that inspired by the menu, but there were a few different vegan choices that felt like effort had been put in. I didn’t realise, as previous reviews say, that there is a vegan menu and so I just looked at the main menu. On this menu There was one vegan “for the table” (olives), one starter (mushrooms), a few mains (aubergine lasagne - special, celeriac steak, burger) and I didn’t look at the dessert menu.
We had the mushroom starter which was beautifully presented - in fact all the dishes were beautifully presented. I then had the celeriac steak and it was lovely, much nicer than I expected.
The quality of the food was excellent. Definitely not one of those ‘could do better at home’ type places.
Will come again and try out the actual vegan menu - although not sure if this is the same options as on the regular menu.

Very expensive

Very small portions. Not that great service. Menu looked really good but was not. Poor effort. I got the coconut curry like a tea spoon full of curry on a big bed of soid gelatinous rice. Also no air, and stunk of fish/ urine. Avoid save money

Separate Vegan Menu

Great choice of vegan food, only down side was the portion size being a bit small. Although if you have starter and pudding you will be OK. Very tasty. Very friendly staff. Bit slow on service.

Nice pub with good vegan options

We had a delicious vegan lunch in this very nice and comfortable pub - ask for the vegan menu rather than try to find the options in the main menu. Great and friendly service too! Top vegan desserts, nicely presented.

Good pub food with a good sized vegan menu

It’s a nice pub with a good sized garden area. The menu is good and the vegan menu is, as the version on the website suggests, full of good options.

Pros: Full vegan menu, Desserts all indicated as vegetarian
