Disappointing Sunday Roast

Normally the food here is great but the nut roast and veg were dry and overcooked on this occasion.

Friendly and attentive

My son and I had the Sunday Roast of Nut Loaf with all vegan trimmings. Staff came out to warn us chef had accidentally added butter to the veg and changed it for us. Also gave us a complimentary dessert. Delicious food, good ales and nice atmosphere.

Pros: Delicious flavours., Staff were attentive.

Lovely pub with excellent range of vegan options

They’ve got a vegetarian/vegan menu where 99% of it was marked as vegan. I had the wild mushroom and onion ravioli with sugar snap peas and creamy spinach sauce followed by lemon and blueberry cheesecake. Lovely pub, excellent service, highly recommended 👌🏼
