Just gorgeous

Atmospheric, friendly restaurant with consistently excellent food. Had a 5 course taster menu one evening recently and another wonderful lunch today. It's obvious that they love what they're doing. Non-vegans are impressed too, which has to be a good thing

Pros: The food, Really lovely staff, The garden area (suntrap)

Cons: Can be a bit on the chilly side on cold days

Great place for lunch

Visited here whilst in the area and had a delicious lunch. It’s a small menu - but I like that. It means that everything is cooked just right. Coffees were amazing too. I loved the decor - traditional and comfortable. I only deducted one star for the slow service . We knew the food would take a while but hoped to get drinks straightaway. It was a busy lunch service though. Will definitely visit again next time am in Bridlington.

Pros: All vegan , Amazing food and coffee, Friendly and relaxing atmosphere

Cons: A bit slow with service

What a gem

We absolutely loved our first visit to Nut and Nettle. We had two breakfast options (carrot salmon focaccia and creamy mushrooms on toast). These were very special and absolutely delicious. The speciality of this place is that the chef is a patissere and makes French style patisserie. I bought a bit of everything and can’t wait to sample them! The place is also very well designed and is very pleasant. I hope we drive past this place in the future! Thanks so much for creating the cafe! Recommended. #Veganuary

Pros: Reasonable prices, Fantastic flavour, Amazing patisserie

Fabulous plant based place

Delightful food and amazing staff. What a gem of a find in a town full of meat-heavy cafes and restaurants. The dishes are well thought through and executed. Not the often found vegan junk food but wholesome food made from healthy ingredients (plants). Drinks menu is vast and the coffee awesome. We wish the Nut and Nettle every success in their venture but hopefully they won't need it.

Incredible Creative Stunning Food

Have been to this eaterie for the past three days whilst in the Bridlington area and it is so amazing. The food is innovative, creative and delicious. 100% plant based. We have tried the vegan breakfast - includes homemade bread - super tasty - perfect seasoning. Take away cakes including chocolate mango cookies, pistachio cookies, carrot and cream bundt, coffee and chocolate bundt and almond frangipane slices - all quality ingredients and fantastic. Also tried the wild waffles and mushroom tartlet - stunning flavour combinations and presentation. The homemade bread board (focaccia and poppy seeded) comes with balsamic dip and an out of this world pesto dip. Drinks sampled were a green smoothie, orange smoothie, latte and a mushroom latte. Can not recommend this gem highly enough. This is a family run business who are obviously caring, attentive and passionate about good service and quality vegan cuisine. Simply stunning. Get there now!

Pros: Stunning menu, wonderful staff, sit inside or out in a pretty courtyard

Best vegan place around!

We LOVE the nut and nettle! Their full breakfasts are AMAZING! The pancakes are too! And the muffins, wow. Honestly my husband and I can’t recommend this place enough and travel from filey when we can to either eat in or get takeout.

Pros: Specials are often on their Instagram

Stop Reading, Start Indulging

If you are reading this review then you need to stop reading right here, as less time reading is more time to spend at The Nut and Nettle.
No written words (or even images) can even closely encapsulate the wonders and experience of dinning here. I have been a frequent customer since they opened (so during all levels of virus restrictions), and I can say that whether you are sitting in, or being served at the outdoor-hatch, you are in for a treat!
The totally vegan business is hosted in Bridlington's best family run pub. At the helm conjuring up the menu and seeing it executed to the highest standard is a very well trained and experienced vegan chef.
The service is always faultless and friendly. Don't skip on the coffee, as this too is on point!
The magicians in the kitchen take locally sourced & organic ingredients and turn them into food which no review can describe.
You MUST eat here!

Pros: Completely Vegan, Organic & Locally Sourced Ingredients, Heavenly Food
