Please be aware the food isn't vegetarian or vegan - Edit
If I could give zero starts I would. Went today to order vegan food after seeing reviews. Asked if was cooked separately to the meat etc. Was told all the vegan food was cooked separately with the gluten fee food. They cook fish in GF batter in the same vat. I informed them the food isn't vegan and they shouldn't have a veggie and vegan menu if its cooked in the same vat as fish, they said they hadn't thought about it.......brilliant.

Just what a hungry vegan needed! - Edit
I got stuck in Wigan (not my usual neck of the woods!) waiting for a flat tyre to be repaired after an awful day. Hadn’t eaten all day, was tired and emotional, haha. Fired up happy cow and found this place. Just what I needed. Had sausage chips peas and bread and butter as they offered this cos they had vegan spread. Offered to batter my sausage and also offered gravy cos they are both vegan but I politely declined haha.

Awesome that they offer vegan options (owner and son are vegan apparently). Always quick service, can get really busy and tables are close together.

Excellent, friendly, service and wheelchair accessible also. Nothing was too much trouble.

Wow!! A Vegan Chippy Meal!! - Edit
The New Chippery was out of this world!! I had missed the comfort of chunky chip shop chips and all the trimmings!! Finally I found a place I can have a Chippy tea and it was so reasonably priced too! The owner and his team were all amazing and even had a separate frier for his chips and vegan Sausage and nuggets! Really enjoyed the food, the gravy and Peas were delicious 😋 We tried the scouse vegan pie and it was so nice and it was gluten free!! Thank you so much, will definitely be back!!
