Cosy pub in a cute pub environment

Options were Mediterranean tart, curry, burger or Nourish bowl. Cheesecake or chocolate mousse for dessert. Such a lovely pub in a beautiful setting. We are definitely coming back.

Great view and good choice

With both indoor and outdoor seating, this pub is great in any weather, with wonderful views of Teignmouth across the estuary. There were a good handful of vegan dishes beyond the typical pub-fodder. We had the nourish bowls with falafels and a side of chips. There could have been more ‘dressing’ or seasoning rather than the added mayo, but other than that it was good.

Pros: Views, Nice building, interesting beaches etc nearby

Good options

A great view of the harbour here and I ate a mushroom sausage roll. They did a vegan hot choc and a lovely vg caramel cheesecake

Excellent food

Great choice, really tasty. Very helpful staff, will veganise certain dishes too. If I recall correctly, they had vegan desserts too!

Pros: Good options, Tasty

Cons: Quite expensive

Good food - amazing views

Ness House has such a wonderful view perched on the Ness in Shaldon. From the heights of the restaurant you can see across the Teign estuary to Teignmouth and beyond along the South Devon Coast.
The menu includes some vegetarian and vegan items and we were also offered a nut roast which I chose as my main course although it was a bit dry and lacking in flavour. Based on feedback from our fellow diners the food is OK to good, the service is quite quick considering how many diners they had and overall it's worth a visit. Certainly the best vegan food you'll get in Shaldon.

Pros: Vegan choices, Amazing view
