Must visit - Edit
Got the breakfast burrito, coffee cake, blueberry turnover, and a raspberry iced coffee and it was all HEAVEN! Everything was truly 10/10. The owners are the sweetest humans in the entire world and it was so amazing to hear about their story. I would 100% prefer going to a family run vegan business than anything else. Support small businesses!

Awesome new spot - Edit
The Moody Vegan staff are some of the friendliest people who go above and beyond whipping tasty bakery and hot food items. The cakes, pastries and breakfast burrito I’ve tried so far are all slamming! Give it a try.

Best breakfast burritto ever - Edit
I’m so glad I tried The Moody Vegan. The space is cozy. Alex the owner is a really welcoming and friendly. Alex recommended the breakfast burrito and now I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to order anything else. The burrito was light and fluffy with a little crunch. There are tons of delicious baked items. I left with two boxes full of pastries!

Great coffee and burrito, friendly - Edit
I had the breakfast burrito with an Armenian espresso. The burrito was delicious, perfectly cooked and presented well. The coffee was great too, I don't take sugar and espresso is often made too bitter, not here!

Everything I have had here is so delicious. From their breakfast tacos to pumpkin loafs to cookies to special iced teas. All the food is tasty, freshly made and reasonably priced. They even have dog treats which my dog loves! And the owners are so sweet!

Lovely cafe - Edit
Lovely little cafe with vegan treats. Had the Apple turnover which I devoured before I could take a picture, and then the breakfast burrito which was top notch. Would love to come back and try more of their menu, especially their pastries. Very friendly owner too.

Unreal burritos!! - Edit
The customer service from the get-go was amazing! The lovely woman suggested, breakfast burrito, and it did not disappoint! Both my husband and I adored it, and if we weren’t so full, we were going to stop to get a second one on our way home to Orange County. I also got the blueberry coffee cake and annihilated that in 5 bites and regretted it, because I wish I saved some for later. We have both said we are going to 100% make the drive back down to LA from Irvine just to visit the Moody Vegan again!

Best breakfast burritos and baked goods I've EVER had - Edit
This is the CUTEST "hole-in-the-wall" place where you will have the BEST breakfast burrito and more! Owned by a husband and wife team where everything is made in-house.
Read moreThe breakfast burrito is handheld and nice and crispy on the outside. Big enough where it's filling but not big enough where you're wondering if you'll be able to finish it. The breakfast tacos are equally delicious. I'm one of the few where cilantro tastes like soap, the owners were so kind and diligent to make sure there was no cilantro in my burrito. Instead of Pico de Gallo, my burrito had fresh tomatoes.
The special of the day was blueberry coffee cake and oh my word, it's out of this world. I haven't had coffee cake since going vegan, this coffee cake was better than any coffee cake I've had. The addition of blueberries in the coffee cake is *chef's kiss*.
Do yourself a favor and stop by The Moody Vegan. You wont be disappointed! I can't wait to try everything on the menu.
Pros: Awesome owners, Delicious breakfast burritos , Delicious baked goods

New Vegan pastry shop - Edit
A new local pastry shop, completely vegan with some gluten-free options just opened. They are very sweet and obviously eager to get new customers. A Small café with 3 tables on Sunset Boulevard near Silverlake/Hollywood.
Read moreWe got the gluten-free coffee cake and two gluten-free cookies, one almond and one chocolate chip. They did not have hot coffee although it is listed and they will probably have it in the future, we have been going through a heatwave and they said that nobody has asked for it in two weeks. So I got the iced coffee with oat milk which was very good. Would love it if they start having espresso/lattes.
I appreciate that they have a Veg-out magazine on each table.
Normally I have to go all the way to Erin McKenna in Larchmont Village to get vegan coffee cake so was super happy about this. I loved the coffee cake, it was crumbly and sugary and delicious.
I also tried the burrito which was very good, they proudly told us that they make the ranch dressing fresh. I wish that they had some kind of salsa but otherwise it was very good, little bit of crunchy from the potatoes.
It's a great addition to the neighborhood and really want to support so that they survive . They seem very open to Feedback and want to please their customers.
