Completely deserving of the reviews it gets. Clearly marks vegan and vegetarian options with plenty of teas, coffees, baked goods, and lunch/breakfast food options. I got the Boca Egg Sandwich (vegan) and The Booster (yerba mate). Lovely atmosphere too

We stopped by for breakfast on our way to the airport. Great food and very peculiar interior design! Loved it! However, if you are used to happy cow’s rating, don’t be misled by the 5*s for this restaurant. Though it can be allocated 5 stars, it is not fully vegan.

Man oh man… this place has a relaxing old school vibe to it. I haven’t had the chance to eat indoors yet, but I know if I wanted to just relax and get some work done this would be my go to cafe.

One thing I do remember is that Vegan Boca Egg Sandwhich!
I’m not sure what they use for the cheese, but it’s melted very nicely. Also if you order this, I highly recommend adding the eggplant sausage, it’s savory and will hit the spot.

An absolute gem, from the food to the staff. So many delicious vegan options, a perfect work or coffee with friends atmosphere. Highly suggest the vegan bruschetta and banana coconut loaf warmed up. The amethyst tea is like sipping heaven. The boca egg sandwich is not on the main menu but it’s fully vegan! Add eggplant sausage to make it even more yummy.

Cool little place in the cove. A bit overpriced and the girl at the counter was a bit off. I had to repeat my order three times and she had still missed an item.. ended up leaving hungry.. partially on me for not confirming w her after repeating it 3 times lol. Not vegan, they offer meat and dairy. Many vegan options though.

Read moreIt's an adorable little spot for a light lunch or brunch. I got the vegan strawberry matcha boba, the vegan bruschetta, and the vegan modern panini.
The boba was definitely not traditional boba. I'm not sure why I expected it to be at this hip place. Lol. The drink was good though.
The vegan bruschetta was so good. Creamy on a crunchy bread and topped with refreshing tomatoes.
The vegan modern panini was also good, but not as good. It was a mess to eat though. It was more filling that I thought it would be.

It was our first time there and I got the spicy avocado toast, which wasn’t really spicy but very yummy! My husband got a panini with avocado, tomato and vegan cheese. They don’t have egg substitutes so that put avocado in place of egg 🤷🏻♀️ Still very good! We both got vanilla chai latte’s with oat milk and they were equally as good. Overall great experience. Highly recommend

They have several vegan options including a vegan bruschetta that’s great value for cost. Also have vegan sweet loaf, vegan lemon poppyseed muffin, vegan artichoke empanada. I’ve tried all of these and all are fantastic. The teas and coffees are also either vegan or modifiable to make vegan. Staff is incredibly kind and attentive. Excellent

I visited after learning of The Modern Rose online. It's a cute shop, with interesting decor, a relaxed atmosphere, and labeled vegan food. Lots of coffee and tea options, too, with non-dairy milk options such as oat. Their drinks are not sweetened, but they have agave, maple, and agave-maple syrups you can add.
Read moreThe staff were nice and informative. Some foods may be vegan but not explicitly labeled as such, so you may want to ask about individual items! I ordered my food and drink to go, but if you eat-in you can use actual tea sets.
