The main attraction of Mitten is the pizza flights - option of four slices of six different vegan pizza on the same tray. It is a party pleaser, for sure.
They have tasty beer and even root beer on tap. I recommend the mango beer or a cold frosty root beer for the NA.
The Mitten is an awesome spot. It’s great as a hangout spot with a group or a casual date. I recommend for some of the best vegan pizza in town.

There were extensive options to have a vegan meal here. I was alone, so I was only able to have a pizza otherwise I'd have waaay too much food. I ordered the chick'n pesto pizza because I've been missing pesto in my life since going vegan. The pizza was very good, but I wish there would have been more of a pesto flavor. I couldn't see or taste any pesto. I LOVED the sun dried tomatoes in place of traditional pizza sauce. It's a thin crust pizza, so I ate half the pizza in one sitting and took the rest home. It reheated well in the oven.

I have been going to The Mitten Brewing Co. for a number of years before going vegan on family trips to western Michigan. It was always an incredible experience. However, I hadn’t been in a couple of years, and this was my first experience since going vegan.

The crust is thin and crispy, they didn’t skimp on the toppings, and the vegan “chicken” is some of the best I’ve ever had! I did inquire about it, and found that it is a soy and wheat based product. This pizza was so good I sat and ate the entire thing by myself! The atmosphere at Mitten is so fun and lively! The baseball theme is a blast! I’m so glad they have all of the vegan options and that it’s a place I can continue to enjoy when in the area!

So thankful this was available on Uber Eats although it was not listed under the vegan section. I ordered vegan Hog Heaven pizza and the Philly sticks. Both were delicious and spicy. Just wish the pizza flight was available as an option on Uber eats bc I had a hard time choosing which pizza I wanted. All the choices looked so good! So many vegan options. When I visit again, I’d love to actually visit the restaurant.

We had dinner at Mitten Brewing Company while visiting family in Grand Rapids. We shared “The Big Show”, a 12” oven baked pretzel. My wife and I shared a pizza flight, samples of 6 of their pizzas. We had the Margarita, Pesto Chicken, Mediterranean, Field of Greens, Hog Heaven, and the Weekly Special (Peach Bourbon BBQ Sauce, Mozzarella, Pulled Jackfruit, Pineapple, sprinkled with Pickled Red Onion and Crispy Jalepinos, all made vegan. They were all excellent. The special and Hog Heaven were my favorites of the 6, but they were all very good.

Is there more to say? .... but really, we couldn't decide which pizza we wanted so we tried 4 different veganized ones. The only bummer was that one of the best sounding pizzas we wanted to try had a honey barbeque sauce that they won't modify when ordering the pizza flight, so sadly we couldn't try that one. All the rest were pretty decent pizzas though! They have a lot of faux meat options.

their pizza options are great! almost all of their preset pizzas can be made vegan for an extra 2$, and they additionally have a build your own option- with vegan cheese as well as vegan pepperoni (was delisious!) two different sausages, jackfruit, and bacon! not to mention the crust is wonderful with that perfect puff, the vegan cheese is not quite mozerella or cheddar, but an in between orange color and smooth cheesy melt without an overpowering flavor.

Delicious vegan pizza! They aren't like "spin-offs" either. They use meat replacements, like jackfruit, and sauces are already vegan. My server was knowledgeable about the vegan options they had. My boyfriend (who is not vegan) even enjoyed the pizza we shared! If I had to change anything, I would ask for less sauce on my pizza next time.

Accurate with timing as to when the food would be ready. Impossible burger fresh and cooked to perfection. Artichoke dip stayed very hot throughout the car ride for half an hour.

Almost everything on their menu can be made vegan!! We got the spinach and artichoke dip and it was amazing! We opted for sandwiches instead of pizza (They have daiya cheese. I personally HATE daiya cheese.) and they did not disappoint. I got the torta sandwich vegan style and it was AMAZING. I highly recommend!

My husband and I had the cheesy garlic breadsticks appetizer and the chicken pesto pizza, both vegan, of course. They use Daiya cheese, which I don't normally care for when I've used it at home, but it was very good on the breadsticks and pizza. They use Smart Chicken on the pizza, and it was quite good. Usually I'm not a fan of the fake meat and cheese and would rather just go without and load up on the veggies, but the pizza was delicious. I think even a non-vegan would enjoy it and might not even know that it was vegan!

I went here per a recommendation by a coworker. I'm not a fan of vegan cheeses, but I tried the 'cheesy' breadsticks and was pleasantly surprised.

I got the pulled BBQ jackfruit. It had vegan mayo ( was also good). I actually felt to jackfruit was a little tastless and cold. I heated up the other half of my sandwich the next day and still wasn't overly impressed.
Lastly, I tried the vegan ice cream, which was very tasty.
Overall, I would definitely return as there are many options and the staff was nice.

Nice looking place with decent beer. They have a menu with loads of vagen pizza. They also have a non-vegan menu but didn't look at it. Pizza was very good but had way too much cheese. Its was drowning in it basically. Great service. Very nice, but if I would be here again I think I'd request a pizza with half the amount of cheese.
