community vibe and cheap vegan food

Lovely food, simple but fresh and homemade. All veggie, lots of vegan. VERY cheap and extra-friendly staff. Important to have community initiative in this student area

Pros: cheap, friendly , unusual venue

Cute and affordable

Really cute little place, pop up only on once a month but worth a visit if you are in the area. Nice chat and cake.
I had a delicious vegan soup with gluten free ciabatta. I also had a vegan scone.

Pros: tasty vegan food, lovely people, affordable

ok

Paid a visit to the The Meeting Room Cafe 100% Veggie Mini Pop-Up today. One of the 2 sandwich options was vegan: a vegan humus and salad sandwich. From the 6 cakes, 4 of them were vegan with 3 being gluten free. Though I must say they were not the most flavourful cakes I have eaten and so do need to work on their recipes. I love the idea that the cafe is run as vegetarian and don't offer dead animals. Off course would love to see them go 100% vegan. They are also a not for profit organisation that run their cafe as a pop upon a monthly basis. Each slice of cake is just £1. They also have a variety of tea and coffee with milk alternative options.

We only realised the venue was in a church and the cafe is run by the church volunteers I think. They were friendly and took my vegan leaflets to display.

Would like to see their little pop up succeed, so please go show your support next month. Who knows they might go vegan?
