Good food, weird vibe

Enjoyed the food, great options but the restaurant has a weird setup with nightclub vibes. Not a place to go to for a relaxed dinner.

Disappointing

I was really looking forward to visiting The Meet, I had such high hopes. I took my non-vegan friend along and we were both hugely disappointed.
The service was dreadful - I felt like I was pestering the waiter for his attention. I couldn't finish my main dish as it was so repetitive in taste, not the best taste at that. The mac and cheese was alright. Drinks are ridiculously expensive. Lastly, the vibe in the restaurant is nightclubby which potentially could work but not this time. Window seats are drafty and cold. I'd like to say I'd give them another try but I don't want to waste my money!

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: Expensive , Lazy staff , Poor food

10 stars

Book before entering! I made plans in advance to go here.

Its very rare I give 5 stars. Went with 2 family members both meat eaters, they were very impressed. All of us got the Sunday roast which was gorgeous, then we got 2 desserts for all of us to share. Got the upside down pineapple cake and the dark Forrest chocolate cake, both very different flavours but they were just... incredible, it's been so long since I've had an amazing vegan dessert! The chefs know what they are doing. The staff were good, the venue in the arches was pretty cool. Everything was great. Definitely would go again and bring people.

Pros: Everything on the menu is vegan, Allergens are clearly listed, Friendly staff

Cons: Bit pricey but standard London prices

Fab food, friendly staff, bit pricey

We had a fab Sunday lunch here. We came with our baby in his pushchair. Staff were super friendly and helpful - carrying his buggy and bringing some sliced avocado off-menu for him to eat (they did charge though, of course) and extra napkins when it got messy!

I had two small plates (chargrilled broccoli, tofu and edamame beans in satay sauce - delicious! and seitan nuggets with sweet curry sauce - also v tasty but tiny portion for £5.50) and a wrap (jerk tofu with pineapple salsa - juicy and moreish). My partner had one of two Sunday roast options - the stuffed chestnut mushroom with all the trimmings. As a Yorkshireman, he was thrilled they had vegan Yorkshire puddings! Little bit dense but fine.

For dessert, we would have liked American pancakes but skipped them as we thought £9 was a bit steep! We shared a bowl of ice-cream (coconut, lychee and strawberry sorbet). Nothing special and a bit watery unfortunately - will try the chocolate forest fruits cheesecake next time. They sell an unusual kombucha which we both really liked.

Venue a bit dark in the daytime, only has windows at one end. We had a great time and would have given it 5 stars, but thought £54 a bit steep for 2 small plates, 2 mains, a side of avo for the baby, a bowl of ice-cream to share and two kombuchas.

Pros: Inventive, varied menu - something for everyone!, Very friendly, welcoming staff, Cool décor (venue doubles as a bar at night)

Cons: Expensive , Bit dark in daytime (in a disused railway tunnel), Not a lot of soft drink options

Lovely place - amazing menu

Really cool venue and a HUGE menu. We had the x4 small sharing dishes, the “what a mess” and the garlic fries. Very delicious. The desert “run forest” was sooo good. Well worth a trip! Coming back for a Sunday roast - they looked too good (with Yorkshire puddings!) not to try!

Love it

What a lovely place, all vegan menu was highly appealing. I had lunch here, a burger and a drink. It was rather messy but seeing as I ate inside it wasn't really an issue. Highly recommend.

Pros: All vegan, Tasty

Cons: Messy

Great food, try What A Mess!

Great food. the What a Mess chilli cheese and chips was amazing, Delicious pickled things in it! Avoid the seitan nuggets, very bland. Burger was good but split the group!

Pros: All vegan

Cons: Bad nuggets

Scrumptious and optionally boozy

Delicious menu. Portions could have been bigger. Bottomless prosecco on the cheap for £15. Vegans and non-vegans would be mad not to go.

Pros: Bottomless brunch, Good service, Nice settings

Cons: Small portions

Wow - loved it

Brilliant menu (all vegan). Went for the big brunch (the confusingly titled 'That's Sir Fry Up To You') and the avocado on toast. Both fantastic. Generous portions, very tasty, good value.

Great service and nice inside. It was busy for Sunday brunch. I'll definitely be back.

Pros: Tasty food, Great vegan menu, Friendly staff, nice atmosphere inside

Best milkshake ever!

Went here for brunch and had the granola with coconut yoghurt and berries, which was delicious! The chocolate brownie milkshake is hands down the best I've ever had, nice and creamy unlike a lot vegan shakes which can be watery.

Went with a non-vegan who had the middle eastern and loved it too, even the cheese! (And we know how difficult that can be sometimes) can't wait to return and try some different things off the menu
