An unexpected find - Edit
We had walked from Amble and weren’t planning to sit down for lunch but a friend had recommended the pub so we decided to just call in for a drink. Once I’d looked at the menu we were definitely staying!
Read moreThe vegan fish and chips were really good and a good sized portion.
The service was really friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Very dog friendly so our 4 legged friend got a treat too.
Even though I was full, I couldn’t resist the vegan cheesecake and I didn’t regret it!
Pros: The choice of vegan meals was good for a pub. , The food was tasty and not too pricey

Amazing, wish i could give it 5* - Edit
On holiday we went for a pub lunch. So delighted to fine loads of vegan options in a rural pub. We were 3 veggies and 2 vegans. Mushroom Cobbler and root veg pie were so good, proper home cooked pub food. Also surprised to have the choice of 3 vegan desserts. Our dog loved the pick and mix free dog treats (not vegan). Staff great and it wasn't expensive.

Good range of options - Edit
Larger than usual range of vegan options for lunch and dinner. Visited at lunch and had a vegan cheese and chutney sandwich which was tasty. Friendly service in a traditional setting.

Lovely pub - Edit
The pub is nice and big, with a lovely beer garden at the back. The vegan options all sounded nice. I chose the Moroccan spiced chickpeas as main and the vegan salted caramel cheesecake as dessert, and both were really tasty. I would happily go back!

Gorgeous food - Edit
Traditional pub grub with a twist. Good choice of vegan options. We had the Masons Wild Mushroom Cobbler and we weren't disappointed. Friendly and helpful staff who apologised for bringing milk with our cup of tea. Highly recommended a visit.

We are a family of 7 with only 1 carnivore. Our order was managed well. Mushroom cobbler was massive! Chips nice generous sizes. Garlic ciabatta very nice with the soup. Everyone happy. Pudding option was tempting but we were full. Pub is dog friendly and muddy boots friendly. Would come back again.

Welcoming with good vegan knowledge and food options - Edit
I happened upon this place when out walking and - to be quite honest - Warkworth was the last place I expected to find a cosy pub with vegan options!
Read moreThe Mason's Arms is a very nice, traditional pub with very friendly and helpful staff. My wife and I both had the soup of the day, which was Carrot and Cumin (delicious), served with freshly made bread and vegan friendly butter.
As we were waiting for our soup, we had a look through the menu and we were pleasantly surprised to see there were several other options on the menu.
Overall, nice place, very friendly and welcoming with - considering where it's located - a good number of vegan options.
Also, their Guinness is very good :)
Will definitely return! Recommended.
