Vegan sandwich ok - Edit
Had the vegan cheese sandwich for lunch, it was quite plain (vegan butter gratter cheese and veggies on the side) for 8,5£. Probably better for tea and pastries. The staff was nice.

Great vegan cream tea - Edit
First vegan cream tea i've ever had but it was a really good one, the coconut cream used is really nice and thick, so not like clotted cream but it was a great fresh take on a classic.

I would rate it 5 stars if the app would let me.

Don’t recommend - Edit
I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I would not recommend this tea room. The manager was very passive aggressive and made our whole party feel uncomfortable. They do vegan cream teas and pastries, but honestly there are much nicer tea rooms in St Ives.

The Market Place - Edit
Lovely little cafe that offers vegan creamed tea. Though, the cream offered was very gritty and didn't taste great. This cafe is worth a stop for its cuteness and to try a creamed tea if you've never hand one before, but it won't blow your mind (at least it didn't blow mine).

Does vegan cream teas! - Edit
Had a vegan pasty and vegan cream tea! Pasty was very dry and very pale, with not much filling so I wouldn't recommend. Was really excited to have a vegan cream tea as I hadn't had one since becoming vegan. I did enjoy it however it was a little bit dry. Great selection of teas!

Yummy and cute - Edit
First vegan cream tea ever! So exciting! Such a cute little cafe and hand made scones and cream, could have had a little more coconut cream as I had to ask for some more, but really great and several sweet and savoury options for vegans! 😋

Ok for a cream tea - Edit
Nice little place, lots of cakes but only one vegan option (a crumble). Apparently they don’t have the vegan waffles anymore due to supplier change - don’t make on site anymore. Did have some vegan ice cream. The scones were nice and the jam good but the cream wasn’t great and nothing like dairy cream or even other vegan substitutes elsewhere.

Vegan Cream Tea - Edit
A cute cafe with a good location for people watching. I ordered a vegan cream tea, which had an option of plain or fruit sconce. The scone and jam were yummy. The cream worked fine on the scone and added another flavour but it definitely could have been more cream like.

Incredibly disappointing - Edit
I was served the worst Cornish pasty I’ve ever ate in my life, that was completely soggy and oily from the microwave. We were then ignored by the staff despite there only being one other table in the place, and had to clear our own plates in order to get their attention to serve out vegan cream tea. The cream is just bad, if they think that is why vegan cream takes like I feel very sorry for them. I would not recommend this place at all and there are far better alternatives all across St Ives, avoid at all costs.

Had the vegan cream tea - Edit
It was pretty good I guess! The cashew cream tasted odd on its own but was nice on the scone and the scone was delicious. The reason I only give 3 stars is the fairly slow service and incredibly annoying bell by the door!!!

Not very impressed - Edit
Tried the vegan pasty that is offered at The Market Place. Unfortunately it is one of those items were they combine the special diets, making it a gluten free vegan pasty. Great if you're a GF vegan, but for the rest of us... so-so.
Read moreThe filling was plain potato, crust very difficult to bite or even cut through and to top it off my coffee arrived burnt. Might have been better off trying the cream tea on offer!😄

Lovely little place, glad I was able to have a cream tea on my visit to Cornwall. Using coconut cream, this was a delicious vegan version of the classic.

Vegan Cream Tea! - Edit
We were delighted to see a sign on the window of this café saying that it served Vegan Cream Teas! Cornwall is famous for its cream teas, but it's rare to find one that includes vegan scones and vegan cream! In this case, a coconut based cream was served - it was thick, looked as though it was mashed coconut, but it tasted delicious on the large scone (plain or with fruit) and jam, with no taste of coconut at all. Hooray!

First time I've ever seen a vegan cream tea! - Edit
As well as some standard menu items like vegan pasties, this place also does vegan cream teas! The scones are large and fluffy, the coconut cream goes well with the jam, and the tea is available with soya or coconut milk. Nice friendly little tea room in the heart of St Ives - thoroughly recommended.

Cons: Only one scone (not two) but it's a good size
