Excellent experience

Know before you go: Use the filter tool on the menu on their website to see if what is on offer appeals to you. I was able to filter separately for “no dairy” and for “plant-based” choices. I knew there were things I’d be happy to eat (even though there was only one main option). There were plenty more vegetarian options that contained butter or cheese.

Everything I had was absolutely delicious - fresh ingredients and very nice flavors - Salad, risotto, and a creamy dessert. They brought complimentary focaccia with fancy butter (fine for my friend) and very quickly responded to my request for some olive oil for dipping.

The setting was lovely and the service attentive (although it slowed a bit as it got busier).

Pros: Accurate, filtetable online menu, Great flavors, Good service

No choice

On holiday in the Cotswolds, Travelled 40 minutes to this extremely pretty hotel to eat from their Vegan options. I also mentioned vegan when I reserved a table.
On arrival I was told the menu had changed and there is only 1 plant based option and nothing else and they can’t ask the chef.
A very disappointing experience especially because it’s a real pretty establishment.
We had a cocktail and that was also poor.
What a let down.

Pros: It’s pretty , Its gardens , It’s building

Cons: No vegan or vegetarian options, Uninterested staff, Unhelpful chef

Excellent thought into vegan options

Nice to have plenty of choice that aren't a burger! Vegan items labelled PB. Staff knowledge. All wines labelled too.
Very tasty food. A fairly upmarket place, but added to the enjoyment.

Pros: Menu choices, Ambiance
