Found vegan food

2 vegan options being pasta and impossible burger. Despite other reviews saying the pasta had cheese mine definitely did not so I think they have taken note.😀 #Veganuary

Vegan?

This place definitely doesn’t understand the difference in vegan and vegetarian. There was regular mayo on my burger and Parmesan cheese in our vegan pasta…. The manager apologized and said they don’t know what vegan means. Be careful here.

The below review must be a different restaurant

The menu has 2 “vegan” options. 1 is the impossible burger, the other is a pasta. Except this high priced dish is not vegan and comes with large pieces of Parmesan over it. When I expressed this is not vegan they didn’t seem to understand that cheese is not vegan. And then argued that I ordered a vegetarian dish, when not only does the menu clearly state vegan I specifically ordered vegan. The drinks are priced at $20 a pop and not even good… we might as well go back to Aloe Cafe and just have their friendly quinoa salad.

Awesome find amidst the vegan desert that is Bora Bora

This was a standout eatery for us during our time in Bora Bora. The staff were warm and easy to talk to. They understood the difference between vegan and vegetarian which was refreshing after the struggles at our resort. Nothing was too much trouble and they referred to the chef quickly if they were unsure of something which was also reassuring. My husband, 3 year old and I all ate vegan here 2 nights in a row. They gave us colouring in activities. The chef makes a lot of things from scratch including the mayo so has excellent knowledge of what is and isn’t in his food. We found most kitchens in French Polynesia to be obsessed with dairy and eggs but this place not so much😄

Pros: Impossible Burger with vegan mayo, Warm staff and vibe, Delicious cocktails
