Large family-friendly pub with several vegan options which are shown on the menu as being so (avocado bagel, superfood pasta, 5-bean chilli, spinach chickpea curry), alongside other menu items that can be made vegan. Update: been served meat

I tried their new katsu curry with vegan chicken and it was really good! It looks like they have new vegan options. I used to avoid Wetherspoons as they only had a few "fast-food" options, but now they also have two new types of vegan curry. I wish they also had some vegan desserts.

Edit: forgot to mention that the side salad comes with a non-vegan sauce. If I didn't ask, I'd have assumed it was vegan since it has the symbol on the menu. I'll have to take a star off because of this as it's really bad for them to do this.


Came here again after one year and been served this nugget-like thing that had a very different texture and very fishy smell. I brought it up with the staff and they apologised and gave us a refund, but it's unacceptable to be served meat. I know there is always a risk when eating in non-vegan places, but they should really be more careful.
