So impressed with this little place! Great service, separate plant based menu.

Malta has a lot of vegan options, and The Lord Nelson is no exception. My wife and I had great cocktails, Maltese wine and very nice food here. It’s a small, cozy restaurant located next to the Mosta Rotunda. If you want a view, as for the table for two upstairs in the window - you’ll be looking out over the street at the Dome.

The food is insanely good and reasonably priced. The Chef’s creativity plays through each course, and his attention to detail is on par with Michelin rated restaurants - right down to the vegan amuse-bouche, and the homemade vegan spiralina butter for the bread course. The separate plant based menu changes based on market availability, and the chef is not afraid to make something off the menu if they have the ingredients. Happy dining!

Creative dishes & lovely setting

The mosr delicious and creative dishes. Short menu, but beautifully prepared with great flavor combination. And desserts too:)!!!
