What a gem! - Edit
So glad to find this place; they have a fresh produce section and pre-made food options. The drinks fridge is abundant and I spotted a ton of vegan desserts in the freezer. The bulk section has quite the array of offerings, particularly for tea, and there’s also vegan baked goods, personal care items, supplements, and plenty more. Mostly a ton of snacks. Went back a second time when the attached Table and Tonic Cafe was open.

Great provision stop in Conway - Edit
Staying at the Doublehead cabin in Jackson NH for two days and stopped here for some provisions. I was surprised at how large this building was and how much it had to offer. There’s a yoga studio downstairs and a cafe/deli adjoined to the building. The store is very clean and stocked with just about everything you can think of. I found all of the vegan cookies/snacks/foods that I love and can’t seem to find anywhere locally all in this shop. It is incredibly well stocked and organized, full of teas/coffee, dry goods, detergents, loads and loads of snacks, ice creams, milks and alternatives, fresh foods, vegan handmade chocolates, a small produce section, supplements, and beauty/hygiene products. There is a spiritual section located in the front corner of the store and it is quite beautiful. There are spiritual books, tarot cards, stones, incense, palo santo, pretty much everything you need. They sell local made jewelry as well. Most of the staff was friendly. I visited the store twice, once on a Wednesday when the cafe was closed and then on Thursday when it was open. I was able to get the tempeh a la harlan salad, a beet salad, a vegan chocolate (rose ganache), and two oat milk lattes. Everything tasted excellent! I will definitely be stopping back next year during my pilgrimage to Doublehead.

So many great options at Cafe - Edit
I personally LOVED all the pre-made options that charge by the pound, but my husband ordered off the cafe menu (meat-based) and he loved it as well. We then went back for baked goods and it’s just so nice to have multiple vegan options for once. Also the staff was so friendly and it really felt like personal service, which you obviously don’t get at big grocers. This little place is awesome. I just wish they would stay open later in the evenings for dinner time.

Okay, but not amazing. - Edit
They had quite a few vegan option, but everything was a bit expensive for what it was. Nice place to stop if you need a quick bite, but not necessarily worth going out of your way for.

Always fresh & delicious meals. Creative menu. They call themselves Table & Tonic for dinner with a different menu. It’s all great. I’m probably in there 3x a week. So lucky to have this place nearby!

Awesome healthy store with cafe - Edit
This store is a must if you are staying on North Conway area and planning on cooking or packing lunch and are a vegan. They have a great selection of glutenfree, vegan and organic foods. Their cafe has a great selection of prepared foods, smoothies , hot beverages. The homemade carrot and beets hummus is awesome. I love the matcha latte. They have a selection of 5 plant based milks including soy, hemp, oat, coconut and almond. It hit the spot after going for a long hike in Whitter Woods.

Smoothies were tasty. I have an extremely limited diet and was so happy to find baked falafels, they were awesome! Grocery area was very nicely stocked and neat. The store had jewelry, bags, yoga items, lotions and essential oils.

The best grocer I’ve ever been to! - Edit
Being from New York, I’m pretty picky about good local grocers. The prices here are unbeatable!! Items I usually find for $50 are $20. The raw chocolates are a little pricey but that’s expected for that. Amazing gifts and vegan foods! Went twice during my stay because it was seriously so beautiful and amazing items

Avoid if foreign - Edit
It's now 2 days in a row that I've been refused service. I won't go back for a 3rd. Yesterday got in just before 6 ( closing time for the Deli) and waited there to be served. A few minutes later an American couple joined queue behind me. The staff member then served them before me. After he had served them he looked at me and said "we close at 6" and walked away refusing to serve me. Today we got there at 4.25 ( so well before 6)and asked to dine in. The lady behind the deli counter told me to go round the side. There we came across the same guy from yesterday who looked us up and down and said "we aren't serving right now". I guess if you look or sound foreign they dont want your custom, maybe it's fine if you are a white American but probably best to avoid of you are anyone else.

Great variety but pricey - Edit
Rustic market with lots of organic, vegan and vegetarian items. Unfortunately it is extremely pricey. Some items sold there are also available at local supermarkets (and Walmart) for nearly half the price in some cases. Not someplace I can shop regularly due to the high prices.

Vegan Options for Locals and Visitors - Edit
Plenty of vegan options for both breakfast and lunch. I've enjoyed the veg head (bagel sandwich with veggies and cashew cheeze), a vegan BLT, and several of the juices and smoothies. The items are a bit pricey, but the quality, taste, and choices are top notch!

Not A Vegetarian Cafe - Edit
They serve meat mostly with some vegetarian and vegan options. It was okay but not very tasty. I think it may be under new ownership. Quite expensive for what you get but there are no vegetarian places in the vicinity.

Definitely Vegan - Edit
They have everything you could want as a vegan. It’s a yoga studio, deli and grocer under the same roof. Had a salad and it was great. Wife had a tempeh Reuben. They even had cashew cheese. Both were terrific.

Great spot for healthy grub - Edit
Very nice place. Everything you could want or need for vegans. I got take out from the restaurant side. Organic pb and j for my son (bread was vegan), Southwest quesadilla (no meat sub cashew cheese), 2 smoothies and a vegan cinnamon bun came to $40! BUT it was delicious and fresh. Couldn't find much else in the area to go so it was worth it.

Great Breakfast! - Edit
So difficult to find a vegan friendly breakfast, especially when traveling. The Local Grocer has a wonderful selection of grocery items, but the cafe is even better. I had the vegan tempeh scramble plate and my daughter had the breakfast bowl, both delish!! And if you eat eggs, i was assured the eggs are from humanly raised free range chickens. Highly recommend.

A Must Stop For Vegans!! - Edit
I love going to the Local Grocer when I visit North Conway. I love that you can do some grocery shopping and then visit the cafe. The store & cafe have many vegan options! At the cafe you can get vegan: raw deserts & chocolates, salads, sides, great coffee, smoothies, wraps, vegan breakfast scramble, vegan smoothie bowls and bagel sandwiches. Gluten free options available. Anything with the tempeh or vegan cashew cheeze sauce is great! The veg head bagel sandwich is also very good! I love that I can get all of these delicious & healthy vegan options on vacation. Also keep in mind the kitchen closes early (3?, call ahead to confirm). Happy Dining!!
