Poor service, a few vegan options - Edit
The best of the poor selection of restaurants at T3 from a plant based perspective. Overpriced as you would expect - main courses were about 15 quid and small portions. There were 4 vegan options, we had the dahl and the burger which were both ok. Kids eat free with an adult but none of the kids options are vegan. Service was poor, we got ignored both at the table and at the bar despite there being 5 or 6 unoccupied (young) staff at the bar. They had no oat milk (but did manage to locate soy) and overcharged me. I would suggest getting a meal deal from Boots or WH Smith instead.

Vegan options - Edit
A few vegan options on the menu, had the vegan burger which was OK, was not a fan of the vegan cheese but that may be more a personal choice, but was great to have the option

Decent breakfast! - Edit
Was pleasantly surprised by the full vegan breakfast option! 2 chonky sausages, nice hash brown (would have preferred two, but I'm a fiend!), decent amount of beans, tomato, mushroom, and scrambled 'egg'. I can't get on board with these Oggs eggs, but that's my own personal taste, and I really appreciate it when restaurants strive to give you egg alternatives because it's what breakfast is missing! 11.99 was a decent price for an airport. Out of principle, I didn't pay the extra 1.49 for toast, seemed a bit cheeky 🤣. Overall, really enjoyable. Just what I needed at 5.30am!

Pleasant early morning surprise - Edit
We headed to the food section of T3 in the airport hoping for a Starbucks as this has become a firm airport choice for healthy (ish) vegan food. Unfortunately T3 doesn’t have one so we started looking for somewhere else to eat. We checked the menu out for The Lion and Antelope and there it was, a full vegan breakfast! Which I ordered.
Read moreThe portion was very generous and the scrambled tofu was lovely. I don’t normally go for the fried/full breakfast option so this was a really nice change. Coupled with a peppermint tea it made for a great start to our holiday.
3 stars awarded as it would have been nice to have some fresh and healthy breakfast options too.
Pros: A good few vegan options , Not pricey considering it’s in an airport , Quick service
Cons: You are forced to choose here, lack of options
