They make 3 different veggie burgers. The grain burger is deep fried and crispy. The tofu burger was really tasty and lots of flavor.

I am vegan, sugar free, and gluten free - so not many options out there for me. I was hoping the Lime would be a new option relatively close to where I live. Unfortunately there were only two options that were vegan and gluten free: veggies/hummus and black bean chili. I ordered both. The hummus was kinda bland but was homemade and large serving. The chilli seemed like it was just canned black beans heated up and also quite bland. I added salt (which look like ordinary table salt instead of a healthier option) and threw the hummus in the chili and it actually made a nice combo. The herbal iced tea was great. For limited eaters like me, it's not the best option especially not knowing if the food is organic.

My job orders from the Lime for lunch meetings and I’ve had their falafel - which is pretty good! Today I ordered the quinoa / sweet potato burger in a pita that was on the specials board. It was delicious! The only feedback i would provide is the cleanliness- the bathroom was small and unkempt and there was a smell in the restaurant of what I presume was a cleaner of sorts, chemical like scent - I guess it could be worse

would give it a 5, if Happy Cow would let me! very knowledgeable and friendly people here. The waitress instantly was able to tell me what was vegan and what was vegan if she held the cheese. a shaker filled with cayenne is on the table, which is a great sign. I had the black bean chili (without the cheese/sour cream) and the falafel with Thai red chilli sauce. both are excellent as is the wine by the glass or bottle

When I lived in the area, I came here on a weekly basis. The service was always great, tofu stir fry was one of my absolute favorite dinners. Loved that everything came with a salad and house made bread, they always offered brown rice and would often put a piece of roasted acorn squash or something seasonal on the plate as well. I took two of my omnivore friends with me to lunch at The Lime. Great little restaurant! Friendly staff. Bottomless cups of divine berry iced tea. Everything was fresh and delicious. So many choices for vegans and omnivores alike!

Long time favorite of vegetarians in this area - Edit
The Lime serves many great vegetarian and vegan options -- not just the obligatory veggie burger! It is a tight space but a friendly atmosphere. The owners/staff run a tight ship and we have had many excellent vegetarian meals at this bustling little gem.

The Soy-Carrot Loaf and the Zucchini Loaf are tasty, large portions, with a more than adequate starter salad. Beverage selection is pretty good, too; I had a flavorful iced tea.
We'll definitely consider stopping here on our next visit to Fairfield County.
