Great food, great coffee, great location - Edit
Best soy cappuccino I’ve had in Ireland so far. The roast rosemary roots salad with vegan feta was absolutely delicious as well, I highly recommend it. Breakfast options (served until noon) looked scrumptious too; would not mind coming back for a vegan scramble.

First class vegan food. I had their version of the blt sandwich and it was too good to be true. Vegan cheese board! I am now converting to the vegan way of life.

Disappointed - Edit
Came here after seeing great reviews. Asked the girl that was working there about the vegan options and was only advised of oats and a brownie. I chose the brownie and asked for a green tea, my partner asked for a coffee and brownie. We got our cakes which was nice however we didn’t get our drinks and when we left she only remembered about our drinks. Plus when we were just about to leave we seen a couple get the vegan eggs, pudding and brown bread which was the reason we went there but we were told we could only get the cakes and scones as they didn’t serve anything else till 12 which was in two hours.

A delight - Edit
The last time I visited The Light House for lunch I got the vegetable tart, served with salad and a sweet beetroot sauce. I was delighted with the presentation and taste. I can't wait to go back again. As a vegan I was pleased to see that all vegan options were clearly labelled on the menu. Vegan desserts were also available.

Little cosy place - Edit
The Lighthouse Café is the perfect spot if you are looking for Vegan meal. They have lovely soup of the day or a stew and several other options available. The space is very cosy and that creates a good atmosphere. The cakes aren't all vegan but usually there are one or two vegan options.

Charming and vegan-friendly - Edit
The Light House offers several vegan options, including a delicious chocolate cheesecake and a fine soy cappuccino. There are tables both inside and out, and on my visit al fresco diners were rewarded with a pleasant accordion concert courtesy of a nearby busker. Service was warm and helpful (order at the counter and they'll bring it to the table).

I love this place. It is small and charming the staff are friendly and helpful. The menu is small but still has a good selection. But the food is so fresh and tasty and the portions are perfect. The desserts are gorgeous. I always feel like I have treated myself when I eat here.

Lovely little place - Edit
Such a nice little cafe. I went based on Happy Cow reviews and I'm so glad I did. It's very tiny inside with maybe 6 or 7 tables and they also had 3 tables outside. Staff were lovely and friendly, so efficient but no fuss made which I liked. We got the burger and the veggie pie with herbed cashew cheese. The burger was incredible, the pie was very nice as well. Everything was so tasty and so fresh, presentation was lovely. Main courses are around €10 which is not bad cos you get a good amount of food. Definitely try this place out

Enjoyed our lunch! - Edit
We really enjoyed our lunch. Nice selection - had trouble deciding what to get. I got the tart with salad - both were very good. My husband got the hummus, salad and soup and all were very good. Only disappointment was they ran out of the chocolate cake before we got a piece. Small place and was busy but comfortable. Staff was friendly even though they were busy. Would have gone back for dinner but the kitchen closes at 17:00

Excellent variety, service and value for money - Edit
I've visited this place for lunch twice in the last two days after being hugely impressed with the vegan menu - not a lot of places in Galway offer such variety. The first day I chose hummus and roasted vegetables on toasted bread with a side salad and a raspberry and blackcurrant slice for desert, and the second day the butter bean and parsley veggie burger and chocolate and coconut vegan cheesecake for desert. My mum, who is not vegetarian/vegan, loved it too. Service was prompt and value for money was excellent. Will be back again for sure.
