5 Star - nothing is to much for Nance and the team - Edit
The team here are the most accommodating, will to alter dishes where possible and recommend other items on the menu that we might enjoy The Liebig is a regular date night destination for us.

Actually pretty good - Edit
Was tired and hangry, and needed a quick feed. HC previous reviewers said The Liebig Cafe is worth a shot. The place was busy and welcoming, and the staff were helpful - no issues with finding something vegan on the menu. I ordered a salt and pepper tofu, then a pineapple curry (also with tofu), which was really nice. My partner comes to Warrnambool heaps for work, and this is going to be his go-to eating place from now.
Read morePros: Good amount of vegan options on the main menu, Cheap enough, Staff happy to accommodate vegan requests
Cons: Cheap and cheerful, nothing not to like

Multiple choices for vegans - Edit
Excellent food, including spring rolls as good as I have had anywhere, but the edamame entree dish is perhaps a bit plain. Huge choice of main courses, as many dishes can be easily made vegan. Staff are friendly, efficient & knowledgable. It seems to be very popular, so it would be wise to book ahead. We will certainly return when next in Warrnambool.

Completely unexpected - Edit
Best Thai I’ve had since going vegan. Accommodating to everything to make vegan if it has tofu or vegetables in it.

Cosy vibes, good food - Edit
The crew working were more than happy to cater to vegan diets and the food was good.
Read moreThere was no dietary notation on the menu, however, which made knowing which items could be made plant based a bit tougher.
Overall, I liked it, enjoyed the cosy vibes of this unpretentious spot and I'd go back again.
Pros: Pumpkin curry was good
Cons: Menu lacked dietary info

Tasty food - Edit
Needed more atmosphere and music to stay on. It kept going on and off which was annoying. They put us in the back room which I didn't like. Front had better atmosphere. Loved the food and they can do so many dishes vegan, including dessert. Wish we got dessert but we were full.

Lots of options - Edit
Quirky decor and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Nearly all dishes can be made vegan and both the red and yellow curry were absolutely delicious.

Not vegan only, but DELICIOUS vegan food is here! - Edit
Although it’s not a strictly vegan restaurant (they please plenty of carnivores as well it seemed), we still found this place to be pretty special. The staff, setting and vibe are all brilliant (traditional Asian) and the wide variety of vegan dishes were extraordinarily tasty!
Read moreMy wife and I (both vegan) LOVED so many dishes here and the menu caters to vegetarians and vegans in a big way (let them know your vegan and they’ll not disappoint). We enjoyed many delicious veg’ and tofu dishes over several visits but the Thai Laksa (Khao Soi) was our absolute favourite... whoah, SO yummy!!
Oh, and the coconut ice cream with black sticky rice is divine too!
We are sad we were only in Warrnambool for a few nights, when we are home in WA we will miss this lovely, family run restaurant!!
Highly recommended :)
Pros: Lots of scrumptious vegan dishes, Happy staff/cheerful music/good vibes, Great value/quick service/popular with locals!
Cons: Wish they didn’t cook meat, but they do

Excellent vegan food - Edit
We had the salt and pepper tofu to start. Not particularly peppery but it was so well made it didn't matter. Mains were satay tofu rice noodles and chu chee curry. Incredibly well made and fragrant. Excellent. Service was fantastic.

A few listed vegan options but the menu is pretty adaptable - Edit
The friendly staff are very willing to help adapt their menu items to be vegan, the laksa made vegan is to die for! The vegan salad is really good too and there are plenty of other options including some really lovely vegan entree items
