Seperate vegan menu and great breakfast - Edit
Very cozy hotel and restaurant. Had a full 3 course vegan dinner with multiple options. Desert was delicious! Only downside is that it was a bit expensive (pretty fancy place so was to be expected). Breakfast was included and they had a vegan version of the traditional scottish breakfast, very tasty!

A must visit - Edit
Great to find such a good vegan option at Loch Ness! Vegan menu had two options for starter (tomato and basil or lentil soup), two for mains (sweetcorn fritters or tomato linguine pasta) and one for dessert (toffee pudding). Between us we tried everything on the menu and it was all delicious! A must visit. Would go again

Separate vegan menu, tasted good! - Edit
I liked that they had a separate vegan menu! We got the vegan mushroom marinara pasta which was large enough to be split between two people. It was delicious and had a good amount of chanterelles! I also got the pea and mint soup which was fresh and tasty.

My god the pudding - Edit
Menu had changed from the web version, but still a few vegan options were available. Mushroom starter was really good, followed by good-but-not-amazing butternut squash curry. Bonus points for vegan garlic bread. And the sticky toffee pudding was to die for.

Cons: Waited for the main for a long time, No up-to-date menu on the website, On the pricey side

Good Vegan Food - Edit
I drove here the other night after following Happy Cow to a food place, there were only houses around and we're in November. I can't look around in the dark haha! So I drove closer to my camp and went to the Lewiston. I had no booking but I was given a table right away. The staff were lovely

Good dinner option in Drum - Edit
Very tasty homemade soup and a reasonable falafel burger for main. Nice to see a vegan dessert option as not many around this area. Sticky toffee pudding even came with vegan ice cream.

Great food! - Edit
We had the soup of the day (carrot and sweet potato), garlic bread, falafel burger and sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. All really tasty. My favourite was the soup, it was perfect after a long day of hiking.

Excellent vegan options - Edit
This cosy restaurant had some of the best vegan options I have seen in the highlands. items on the fixed menu which we didn’t try included black bean burgers, Aubergine and “cream cheese” rolls and tagine. what we did order included really filling salads and a selection of sides like garden veg, garlic bread, roast potatoes and the specials which were very creative and delicious. These included an Asian style dish with Puy lentil and mushroom “meatballs” served with scrambled tofu fried rice and a hoisin style sauce with salad. We also had the cauliflower and chickpea bake with vegan mozzarella on top.

Service was very efficient and friendly.
Reservations are advised, especially in summer.

You’re missing out if you don’t eat here - Edit
We went here twice while on holiday in Drumnadrochit and were absolutely delighted with this place. There were a few vegan options on the menu as well as a different special both days, and they were really well thought out and high quality. Not just the standard falafel or beetroot burgers we were expecting. In fact, now I’m back in St Andrews I’m a bit disappointed there is nowhere like the Lewiston here.

Perfect! - Edit
One of the best vegan meals I've ever eaten. I had the vegan cream cheese & spinach grilled aubergine rolls in tomato ragout with roast potatoes, steamed veg & stuffing. They have specials that include vegan dishes which I think is great. The dessert was also really good & staff very kind.
