Feel good space at the not-so-vegan airport, super nice especially if you’re craving for a sweet treat or a healthy juice.

Airport veggie safe space 😉 - Edit
Offers a variety of bowls, sandwiches, cookie/cakes as well as coffee/matcha. The rest of the airport lays a pretty low bar for vegan food, so this place really shines. And since vegan convenience food is usually overpriced anyhow, the prices don't strike out THAT much for an airport.

Lovely vegan food - Edit
On the way to gate C area from the security, a lovely vegan restaurant/cafe selling sandwiches, cookies, and ice-cream, among other things. I had a tempe BLT baguette and some lemon-raspberry sorbet, and bought a chocolate bar to go. Everything was great.

A dream come true! - Edit
While Vienna airport doesn't seem to be short on vegan options, it was great to spot this all-vegan-shop! They now also have a branch before the F-Gates. On offer are pastries and cookies, sandwiches, salads&bowls, ice-cream, and much more. I tried their ice-cream, which is delicious and comes in many many flavours! Also had a vegan BLT-Sandwich with tempeh, and it was to die for! So great to be spoilt for choice and to find so delicious meals!

Amazing airport cafe! - Edit
I am always weary of travel days as a vegan, but VIE had plenty of plant-based options. The LaLa had a huge assortment of salads, sandwiches, and vegan snacks in addition to drinks and ice cream. I got the vegan caprese and it was the best I’ve ever had!

Veganista Ice Cream is out of this world - Edit
Couldnt be happier after having a layover in Vienna. Normally vegan places in airports are unexistant. The Lala Veganista is a complete vegan deli. I had a nice tempeh sandwich from the Lala and a carrot cake. It was good but what impressed me the most was the ice cream from Veganista. Hazelnut Praliné. What an amazing injection of happiness. Superb taste.

Vegan Travel Rescue Center!🙏❤️ - Edit
Yesterday I had a one of more adventurous journeys in my life. I was flying from Germany via Vienna and suddenly came across this wonderful cozy place. At first I've noticed "some vegan options", shortly I've realized that these tags are not options.... everything is Vegan there. At the counter I've encountered (sweet rhyme🤩😅) two vegan Sisters and they've sort me out for trip , amazing foccacia burger, carrot cake (I'm eating this cake now, in San Jose 😃🤣) and brownie. What else I can say.....yo! Vegan brother's and sisters! Let's get together.....and arrange your FUTURE trips via Vienna airport and make this amazing Veganista outlet! Sharing is Caring. I humbly thank you once again for being there for me in time of need. Together we're Stronger day by day. Pura Vida and One Love from San Jose ❤️💛💚. PS ex ALF

Super cute venue - Edit
I was pleasantly surprised, when I found this super cute vegan shop at the terminals at the Vienna airport. Happy to see that there are more and more vegan venues even in places where you wouldn't expect them in the first place.
Read moreI tried the vegan caprese sandwich. It was really good. It was a bit expensive for what you get, but it is still airport food, prices are usually very high there. Just because it's a vegan venue, doesn't mean, that changes anything.

Airport saviour - Edit
This "The La La / Veganista" cafe is the perfect vegan spot where to have a quick bite before jumping on the plane. It is located on the airside of Vienna Airport Terminal 1 and offers a great selection of toasts, panini, salads, cookies and cakes. We had the caprese and the carrot lax toasted sandwiches which were yummy and well above the average of airport food. The veganista ice cream is the cherry on the top! It also has a wide selection of cold and hot drinks. Just relax here without rushing to the gates to enjoy a fulfilling vegan moment before your flight.

I had the vegan caprese sandwich, an oat latte and the felix (raspberry and lemon) ice cream. It was a little expensive, but it’s in an airport and it’s fully vegan, so totally expected.

Expensive and moderate quality - Edit
I had a quinoa salad and a protein nut smoothie and that’s set me back over 20 euro. The salad had a very heavy dressing that dominated the not-so-fresh veggies. But the staff was very nice and there was a wide choice for an airport.

Decisamente troppo caro! - Edit

Perfectly perfect - Edit
This place is amazing, tge staff lady is like tge nicest kindest person ever! They have all the perfect goodies right at Gate C of Terminal 1. You can also sit but it's not really near the windows so you can't watch the planes. That's THE ONLY con tho! For gelato I went for basil, matcha and lavender. Lavender was the most interesting option and also the sweetest of these 3. Gelato tastes very fresh and it's oh ao refreshing because the air con is for some reason turned off.. They also had free taste test for smoothies, both were very good! Chili and mango is very interesting I recommend! For coffee etc. they have like all the milk alternatives you could imagine and a lot of the pastries are Gluten free too!!

Incredibly disappointing - Edit
I honestly don't understand the high ratings. The sandwich (Green Goddess) was supposed to have avocado in it, turns out it was a super simple and thin spread. The sandwitch was fine at best.

A welcome sign: “Very, very tasty plants” - Edit
So nice (and still rare in 2022) to find a 100% vegan eatery at an airport. Yes, it’s overpriced, but again, consider the location. Even if you’re not up for a sandwich, they have delicious cookies and decent little cinnamon rolls (which my solemn religious vows require me to sample whenever I find vegan ones), and those items are not packaged in plastic. Which brings me to the biggest area where they could improve: their packaging. Aside from the sandwiches, cookies and cinnamon rolls, almost everything else they sell is packaged in plastic or something plastic-like. I would’ve tried the chocolate treats too, if not for their single-use packaging.

Idk how about in 2022 but now all the plastic says it's 100% climate friendly, raw and from renewable materials. I consider it good but I might be mistaken? I'm no expert
