Good if you really need something to eat but it's poor quality

The cake was dry and without fantasy but still tasty. The tea was lovely and they sell fresh fruits as well

Pretty but poor quality food

This beautiful spot sits hidden in the Kensington Palace gardens surrounded by lush greenery. It is absolutely beautiful and everything about the decor, from the plush comfy chairs to the gorgeous dinnerware makes this place seem magical.
Sadly, their food leaves a lot to be desired. Their menu only has a few vegan options, such as fruit salad, sorbet, and some sort of main with tofu and veggies. They also offer vegan high tea. I ordered the children’s high tea (which is the same as the regular but less food) and was pretty disappointed. Their savory sandwiches were tasty, but nothing special. Hummus and veggies on cheap sandwich bread. The scone lacked flavor and the texture was completely off. It was too spongey and kind of tough and gummy. Very unpleasant. The top layer of the tea service featured a brownie and a strawberry sponge. Both were exceedingly sweet. The strawberry sponge tasted like fake candy strawberry and was just disgusting. The brownie tasted ok, but the texture was off and it was too sweet to enjoy more than a bite.
Overall, based on the price and location of this restaurant, I was very disappointed and hope they will look into improving their vegan options in the future.

Pros: Beautiful decor, Friendly staff

Cons: Bad food
