Shockingly rude staff

We were stood outside looking up reviews and prices on our phone for no more than 2 minutes and a European looking man came out being aggressive and started banging a pot at us without saying a word. He was honestly so rude, we were shocked! The food didn’t look good for how much it costs. Super pricy, not many veggie options and the rudest staff. STAY AWAY!!

Cons: Rude horrible staff, Super expensive

First, readers of your 'review' need to be made aware that you have *never* been a customer at my restaurant; indeed, you have never even so much as set foot in my restaurant. Reviews are - by definition - normally reserved for customers, i.e., those who have actually dined at a given restaurant; not those who merely loitered on the periphery of the property. It is for this reason that your 'contribution' has been reported.

In fairness, of course, you do not claim to have ever eaten at my restaurant. Indeed, you emphasise that the food does not "look" very good and that there does not seem to be many vegetarian options available. Allow me to retort.

Food is primarily for consuming; not for looking at. As it happens, however, many of our customers - including some professional chefs - have commented favourably on the presentation and appearance of our dishes. As regards taste, again we have had numerous customers quite literally rave about the fare we serve. Also, without wishing to blow my own trumpet too much, one diner - a Moroccan - was actually close to tears when eating our food, saying, "It is just like my mother is in the kitchen." But of course you have never eaten - or even seen - our food, so you would not know.

As for your claim that we do not offer many vegetarian options, you should perhaps bear in mind that, believe it or not, not all the world is vegetarian. Indeed, many of our customers enjoy eating meat. Shock! Horror! As it happens, however, both I and my partner are ourselves vegetarian, and a growing number of our customers request vegetarian or wholly vegan options. None of our actual customers have any cause for complaint, for out of the six tajines we offer one is vegan and two are suitable for pescatarians. Thus no less than half of our tajines are non-meat dishes. Also, one or the two couscous dishes we offer is strictly vegan, and all three of our assorted dishes are vegetarian, and one of these is vegan. Furthermore, all four of our side dishes are vegan. Thus your claim that we do not offer many vegetarian or vegan options is demonstrably false. It is, in fact, pure codswallop.

You also assert that the food at my restaurant is expensive. To this all I can say is that I do not doubt that some penniless backpackers may well find some of our dishes to be beyond their means.
