Nice cafe in the top of the shambles in the middle of Worcester, good veggie and vegan options. We had a great vegan lunch there, food was prepared real quick & staff were very friendly. Nice, clean, well priced food.
I have visited Karmic Cafe 3 times now and enjoyed every meal. I especially enjoyed the Greek Ploughman's Lunch I had on 11 June 2014. Good coffee too.
Well worth a visit if in Worcester.
Stopped off here today for a vegan breakfast and thought I'd give it a quick review.
I ordered the very substantial full English vegan breakfast which came with a decent cup of Americano coffee, in my experience vegan breakfasts don't normally include decent coffee so this was a big bonus. The breakfast which costs a very reasonable £4.90, consisted of two slices of toast with vegan margarine, 2 hash browns, 2 sausages, sauteed mushrooms and tomatoes and baked beans and the aforementioned cup of Americano with soymilk or tea and soymilk.
Pleasant friendly cafe. Not the easiest to find but well worth searching out if you are visiting Worcester. Prices are very reasonable, food excellent with good choice and the staff friendly. So nice to find a cafe where everything on the menu is suitable for a veggie family - it will take us quite a few visits to work our way through the menu!
At present they close at 4.00 pm and are not open on Sunday. Allow yourself plenty of time as it is a place to linger - bag a window seat watch the world go by. You won't feel out of place if you eat alone either as lots of people take a book and enjoy a little 'me' time.
One peculiarity - if you want to use the loo you will have to ask for the key. Honestly, it is not as odd as it sounds!
There are plenty of vegan options - the vegan Greek Ploughman's comes very highly recommended. In fact we have yet to try anything on the menu that hasn't met with the response "We must try this at home" !
