Same experience as below - Edit
Ordered the avocado toast which ended up being $18.26 with surcharges. 1 small piece of sourdough with what could’ve been dairy butter or margarine.

Expensive - Edit
$17.90 for one piece of bread with some avocado is shockingly overpriced.
Read moreWe visited with people who ordered off the non-vegan menu and for the same price, their plates were loaded up with food.
No idea how this cafe justifies charging $17.90 for this portion when a non-vegan breakfast was similarly priced to get 2 pieces of toast, eggs, bacon and greens. If I were the wait staff I would have been embarrassed to bring this out followed by the loaded up plates for the non-vegans.
Wouldn’t return here or recommend it based on the smashed avo.
Coffee was nice and the açai bowl was nice too.

Overpriced for small portions - Edit
Ordered the beetroot and corn fritter stack, and paid, after staff checked with the kitchen they could still do the brekkie menu. 10 mins later told they've run out. Ordered the avo smash instead for $17.90. One *tiny* piece of bread and way too much underripe avo. The bread had butter that smelt like dairy butter on it. Still quite hungry after finishing.

Cons: Skimpy portion , Pretty sure put butter on my bread

I had the same issue. 1 small piece of bread with what could’ve been butter.

The Junction - Edit
While the Junction has a fairly decent amount of vegan and vegan option dishes they unfortunately (in my opinion) are not very flavoursome. In regards to their tofu scramble (it is a pretty staple vegan menu item), it is made with silken or very soft tofu and has very little flavour, often a bit of turmeric and an odd hint of cinnamon. Maybe the staff don't taste their dishes or it's the flavour that they genuinely enjoy. I can't say I particularly enjoy eating there mainly because I don't think it's hard to make a simple dish taste decent.
Read moreI feel bad for ripping on the tofu scramble because I think it's great that they're making an effort to incorporate hearty vegan food into their menu.
Pros: Nice out door seating (dog friendly) area, Accia bowl, Friendly team
Cons: Average tofu dishes, Average coffee
