I’m so glad we stopped here for lunch after a nearby hike. We ordered variations of the Smash (beyond) Burger, a kids hot dog and the Banh Mi. Everything was incredibly tasty and fresh, and the owners were really friendly.
Read moreThe Banh Mi was loaded with fresh veggies, tofu and BBQ sauce. For the burgers, we found the patty really thin, but you have the option of doubling or tripling your patty, as well as customizing with a large choice of add ons.
Dessert options include soft serve (flavors vary), cookies and brownie.

My partner and I ordered the BBQ chickn wrap & all day breakfast burger and we both agree that those were some of the best wraps & burgers we’ve ever had (& he is omni)!! Definitely worth the trip from Whistler tbh.. there are lots of farms & hiking trails in the area worth visiting as well :)

Was super excited to come here and it definitely lives up to the hype. My wife and I both got the Aloha Burgers which I believe were a special and not on the regular menu. They were the tastiest and most satisfying things we have eaten in a long time. Will be back for sure!

Went on a little drive and checked ahead for vegan options in Pemberton. Had a bit of a hard time finding the place but it was worth it!! I had a falafel wrap which was huge and delish! For dessert I got a homemade apple turnover, they even picked the apples! The whole menu was vegan and it was fresh and very yummy. Would go back again for sure!

Such a tasty beaky sandwich, the cream cheeze they use is awesome (unsure if it's housemade, either way it's delicious), the tomatoes tasted like they were picked that day, bagel choice was perfect. I wish I wasn't just passing through, I would've liked to try more options! I'm sure they will eventually get an espresso machine, for now they serve drip coffee and some other beverages.

Amazing food. We had the Banh Mi, potato salad, and Italian sausage sandwich. The best potato salad we’ve ever had. The rest of the food was excellent! Highly recommended.

Best Food Near Whistler - Edit
The Hwy Cafe is hands down the best vegan food you will find near Whistler (better than anything in Whistler as well). Hidden in an industrial area is this gem of a place! They have weekly specials with new wraps packed full of flavour. I’ve had their falafel wrap, their buffalo chicken wrap and this week’s special, the ‘Tangy Carolina BBQ Chick’n Wrap.
Read moreIf you’ve been to the United Arab Emirates and have tried their mint lemonade - Hwy Cafe’s lemonade is extremely similar and was an absolute treat to have on a hot day. Their iced coffee tastes amazing as well!
The food is priced extremely fair and this is my new favourite place to get takeaway, so support local businesses that offer so much!

What a great little place. It is in an industrial area so not easy to find at first but well worth the effort, just outside of Pemberton off of Hwy 99. Great comfort food; burgers, dogs, sausages etc. all vegan and with little twists making the food even better.
