Such great food and flavors at HwyCafe!!! - Edit
We come here for dinner every single time we are near. We have enjoyed each and every menu item we tried, and haven’t had everything yet. But we’ll be back. Also, the staff are so pleasant, helpful, efficient and kind.

Amazing vegan food and big portions - Edit
This place was a gem to stumble upon. The highlight for me was their special - an oyster mushroom wrap made with local ingredients. Also tried their vegan soft serve, the buffalo wrap with soy curls, the chick pea burger, chocolate chunk cookie, chocolate muffin, and coffee with vanilla almond creamer. All so yummy and fresh! Love the big portion sizes. The vibes here are great too and the staff is friendly. I would recommend going here if you’re in the area!!

The chicken wrap was awesome 👏🏼 huge portion. It felt like half a bag of soy curls were on this thing. The falafel wrap was good too, not dry and lots of toppings. They tell you to only unwrap one side of the wrap so that you don’t lose any fillings when you’re eating it 👍🏻.
The ice cream flavour of the day was blueberry lemon made with local blueberries. It honestly tasted like a blueberry lemon cheesecake 🫐🍋amazing.

The food was excellent . I had the big crunch. It was amazing. I almost had to dislocate my jaw it was so big. The fries are perfect and the mint chocolate chip soft serve was so good.

Such a cute spot surrounded by mountains and not too far from other lovely sights in to explore in Pemberton, and truly excellent food with generous portions. More than a roadside stop, this should be a destination.

Read moreDropped by on my way back from Joffre Lakes on my way to Whistler for lunch. I got the Buffalo chicken wrap, my boyfriend got the beyond burger and we split the fries. Everything was filling, so flavourful and the attention to detail was really appreciated. I also had to try the soft serve, the flavour at the time was pumpkin spice which was delicious and had such a nice creamy texture.
The service was friendly and fast. I wish I could go back and try the rest of the menu, can’t recommend this enough ☺️

Folks, you HAVE to stop at this place. Unbelievably delicious food and a chilled vibe. Leo, the owner, came up with great plant based recipes that taste like heaven. We had 3 different wraps and all of them were just perfect. Highly recommend!!!

What a neat little roadside cafe! I had the Greek wrap, which was generously sized and delicious. Got a combo, which included a cup of fries and a fountain lemonade - their own recipe, which was yummy and not too sweet. If you're looking for a casual vegan meal in the Pemberton area, definitely check this place out.

This place was so good that we went on the way back during our BC interior road trip. Was not expecting something so good at the side of the road!!! Really big, filling, delicious.

I ordered the double beyond smash burger with added banana peppers and caramelised onion. From the brioche-like bun to the balance of the sauces, it was totally delicious. Had that flame grilled flavour to the patties as well. Sad that Hwy is 7500km from where I live for a return visit!

The food is delicious. We loved our banh mi, hot Italian sausage, coffee and lemonade. The place even gave us some ice cream to try! Loved the experience overall.

Stopped at The Hwy Cafe before a round of golf at Big Sky. The mushroom filled Blue Rodeo Wrap was the special of the day and was both tasty and filling. Fresh veggies, roasted mushrooms, hwy sauce, what’s not to like? The wife got the classic grilled cheese and was equally impressed.

Great little place, good food, big portions, welcoming staff, and at perfect point along a long road trip to grab a bite. Really glad we decided to stop, as the place doesn't look like much from the road. Will be stopping in regularly as we make this trip north.

The falafel wrap and breakfast burger made for a delicious lunch with nice big portions. Had the iced coffee and perfectly soft chocolate chip cookies for dessert, definitely recommend those too!

If i could give more stars i would. alllll the stars! I have eaten vegan food all over north america and HOLY HECK i think this tiny cafe in pemberton bc has the best food consistently across the board! I went with 3 friends and we had a bbq wrap, a breakfast burger, a pizza grilled cheese, and a smash burger. It was all incredible. The bbq soy curls are unbelievable. The pizza grilled cheese was the best my friend had ever had. I was hesitant about the smash burger because the patty is thinner than i am used to but it worked! It allowed me to taste everything and now all i want are smash burgers! And the breakfast burger had a hashbrown on it, need i say more. The owner/chef came out to say hi and was really nice too. I wish i could eat here at least weekly but i can't afford the gas lol.
