Easily one of the top vegan restaurants in the city. - Edit
I've adored this place since the original location opened on Bloor street. I've had everything on the menu and nothing disappoints! Whether it's the fries supremacy, bacon cheeseburger (one of the best bacons I've ever had), pulled pork, or unchicken and waffles, it's impossible to go wrong. They've also got a great vegan craft beer selection, including several from local breweries. The staff are incredibly friendly and the service is consistently great. This place stole my heart years ago and it still has it!

Friendly Service - Great Food - Edit
Immediately, as soon as I walked into the place, I was greeted with a friendly ‘hello’ and welcomed. The guy serving me spent time to recommend a beer, recommend some food and later recommend a few places for live music.
Read moreThere were specials which they had been selling to raise money for animal shelters in Australia, this was just after the worst bush fires in recent history which killed millions of animals all over New South Wales. I love that they did this, it shows that their ethics go further then their menu.
The food I had was great! The beer was really good! I wanted to visit the next day but didn’t find the time. I really think this place is worth seeking out.
As a POC I felt no micro aggressions or micro invalidations at all, again, the service was very friendly and personable and not at all overbearing.
Pros: Great beers, Excellent and friendly service, Great food
Cons: The area has few other highlights

Damn tasty food. We shared 5 “wings” as a starter. I had the Philly Cheezsteak with upgraded side to Poutine my wife had the Ruben and upgraded her side to fries supremacy. We also shared a mac n cheese. All the food was so tasty!

Best burgers - Edit
I really love this place. The whole dinner menu is great, both sandwiches and mains (try something with the melted queso cheese!). The size of the burgers a little bigger than normal and the fries are really good.
Read moreThe brunch is a bit disappointing, just less enticing options in comparison to the normal menu. The tofu bacon also wasn’t great when I tried it.
Pros: $2 for soy ice cream, Patio
Cons: Desserts, Tofu bacon, Brunch menu

Small menu = great tasting food, at least for this restaurant. Both mains and desserts are delicious and get served quick and hot!

I've been to Hogtown a few times and really enjoy it, perfect vegan trash! Especially recommend the Caesar salad, the Southern combo, chicken and waffles, and their brunch French toast.

Cozy vegan spot - Edit
I was really excited to stumble across this all-vegan restaurant, but was a little disappointed in what I tried. The menu has so many delicious sounding options, I decided to try the Philly cheesesteak. It was a very impressive serving size with a yummy cheesy sauce, but I just found it too salty to really enjoy. I would like to try some of their other menu offerings as perhaps they would be a better option for me.

Loved finding this spot! Super accessible on tram. Was not crowded during my two visits here. Very fast service and loads of options! The Philly was super messy but really tasty. Macaroni is excellent as well!

Yum! Great vegan comfort food - Edit
I got the Southern Combo and the Buffalo Wings. Both were so good, and our waitress was really nice. One person in our party doesn't do well with fried food and they had a hard time eating here. There are a couple salads, but pretty much everything on the menu is fried, so be aware if that is something you don't want or don't like. For comfort food, this place was great, and not too pricey.

If you're in the mood for a bit of tasty vegan grease, this is the place to go! I had the vegan BLT with home fries (tofu bacon) and it was delish! Will definitely be coming back!

Great menu - Edit
I went twice in the same week, first time was on a Sunday so it was the brunch menu, I had waffles with tofu and mac'n'cheese and a great sweet sauce which I believe was maple sauce, I loved it so much that a few days after I couldn't resist and got waffles again, this time with "chicken" and spinach on the regular menu. SO. GOOD.

The appetizers are huge portions, definitely enough as a meal! We had Mac and cheese (best ever), chicken and waffles (really good but didn’t like the sweet potato purée) and poutine (better than the ‘real’ thing)!

This restaurant is amazing!
Read moreWe tried the wings, mac n cheese, the filly cheese steak sandwich, the beef stew and dumplings, the deepfried "clams", and the deep friend bananas.
It was all a 10/10. I am very critical with vegan mac n cheese and it was amazing!!
I honestly have no complaints. You need to go here!!

Absolutely delicious comfort food - Edit
A friend of mine hyped this place up and for good reason. I had the mac and cheese side with the waffle breakfast sandwich and it was out of this world good. I'm going to be dreaming about the mac and cheese and the "egg" they used 😍

Pricey - Edit
I had the small serving of buffalo wings which was delicious! I then had the Southern Combo which was recommended by the waitress. I thought this was super overpriced for what it was, a few pieces of “chicken”, barely warm Mac and cheese and spinach with bbq sauce, it was quite bland - disappointed.

So many different comfort foods to choose from. The first time i went here was when i was only vegan for a few weeks, i had yet to try veganised "bar food". This place changed my mind about vegan food. Ive been vegan for months now and have been to almost every restaurant in the GTA and i still stand by Hogtown being one of the best restaurants. There garlic bread is to die for, their wings are amazing. Nothing on the menu i dislike

Favourite spot for pub food & drinks - Edit
This is a pub-style dining place and I love it. During my two visits, I tried the weekend brunch (omelet), dinner ("phish"&chips) and dessert (fried banana split). All was good, the portions were big enough and prices reasonable. The staff were nice and the service relatively fast. The place was cozy with subtle music. I will definitely come back if I have a chance.

Great food - Edit
Great food options, cheap and good food. The only odd thing is that it’s not the same quality of the other Hogtown vegan.. oddly enough? Which is why I’m giving 4 stars.
