The selections were incredible. I bought the Korean and Teriyaki Jerkys to try. I'm definitely glad that I did.

One of a kind - Edit
Been following this place on social media for years, but never got a chance to try out their products. Walked in the shop today and was amazed by how beautiful and authentic this place looks, really great job to the owners and team. Ordered two hot sandwiches, both were outstanding. The prices are pleasantly moderate and the servings are large. Five stars all the way, keep it up!

Can’t Get Enough Of This Place - Edit
Love the mouth-watering selections of all vegan brands of cheeses and meats. Any time I am near this place, I have to always stop by. One-of-a-kind. So many things to choose from; truly one of the best vegan shops around in Minnesota. 💕🌱 🧀 🍖

The hot breakfast sandwich! - Edit
I know everyone is about the deli sandwiches (and they are amazing!), but please also do yourself a favor and try the hot breakfast sandwich as well. It is beyond delicious and absolutely gigantic. Took me 3 tries to finish it!

Just like a real deli! - Edit
Wow. The outside ambiance was great and when you walk in it's just like a real butcher!

**Turkey Dill Havarti** - Edit
By far the best cold cut sandwiches in the twin cities with my favorite being the turkey dill havarti.
Read moreThey also have things like Mac and cheese, spinach artichoke dip and at one point macarons! Cool assortment of vegan snacks to look at while you wait for your food.

The best - Edit
This was definitely the best food we had in Minneapolis. My partner got a sriracha brat and we got Italian and Turkey Havarti cold cut sandwiches to go as well as a bunch of other meats to try. Everything was good, but the Italian cold cut was my favorite. I don’t usually like sausage kind of things but the Italian brats were good as well.

Great spot - Edit
When moving to Mpls, chose NE in part because of proximity to HB.
Read morePre-pandemic, they would weigh out your order and bag it up. Since the pandemic, they have only used pre-packaged sizes and started asking for tips, which doesn't make any sense because the employees are no longer weighing out your order or anything.

Stroopwafels, snacks and sauces, oh my! - Edit
In addition to deli meats & cheeses, there is also a very nice selection of hard-to-find vegan retail goods such as stroopwafels, fysh sauce and marshmallows.
Read moreThe Hot Breakfast Sandwich had a nice maple-y taste and was quite large. It was both my breakfast and lunch and kept me full until dinner. Yum.
The gentleman behind the counter helped me purchase all of the ingredients needed to make the Italian Cold Cut Sandwich at home, and also told me what I needed to buy separately at the grocery store (such as vegan mayo and red onion). I made it for dinner, and it was hands down the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time.
Pros: Nice selection of vegan retail products

This has been a favorite of mine since before the had a brick and mortar store. I just had their Leftovers panini and it was very good. I love their ribs, burgers, and meatloaf especially.

Keystone of the MN vegan community - Edit
Aubry and Kale are the glue that holds the Minnesota vegan scene together. HB is a staple in so many restaurants, especially non vegan ones. It’s not cheap, but worth every penny.

While visiting Minnetonka we stopped in to get supplies for a meal with an omnivore friend in the area. Bought some of the ribs, some cheese, pasta salad, and a sandwich. All were excellent. Even my omnivore friends enjoyed it.

Believe the hype! - Edit
Love the variety and care they put into their goods. Wish they would consider doing some sort of salad with their meats and cheeses. I love the sandwiches, but all that gluten and bread can get kind of heavy. Great selection of vegan chocolates and cookies, too!

Yay! Deli Sandwiches! - Edit
They have a short menu of pre-made deli sandwiches and an extensive selection of vegan 'meats' for purchase in bulk like a traditional butcher shop. We tried the turkey sandwich and the Italian sandwich, both of which were excellent. I wish we lived closer so that we could try the other sandwiches and the meats!
Read moreOne downside is that there's nowhere to eat inside the shop, and it's pretty far away from anywhere worth sitting and eating outside. Also challenging considering the weather can be dicey at certain times of the year!
Cons: No seating
