We caught the bus here as we were going to the cafe in the same building. They had some vegan chocolate brands I had never seen before and they had a lot of vegan items in the freezer. It’s a big shop and they had fresh produce as well as packaged food.

Read moreThe grocery store itself is excellent. I've given it four stars just because it's not vegan (and I think that's the highest rating a place with vegan options on Happy Cow is supposed to get??) although the vegan range is fantastic.
The store is very big, set in an industrial shed, and the cafe is inside that. Extensive range of foods - perishables, non-perishables, freezer foods, skin care, cleaning.
I noticed lots of frozen vegan pies, big variety of chocolates.
Pros: Big, lots of vegan groceries organic, great cafe

What a wonderful shop. Huge selection of health foods and vegan goodies. Not vegan only but loads of things to try (tofu, vegan cheeses, tempeh, burgers etc) and lots of beautiful fresh salad leaves, fruits and vegetables with plenty of organic locally grown food. We stocked up here before going on to our self-catering cabin in the Tablelands. Wish I had a shop like this at home!

Vegan Supermarket! - Edit
This place was literally opposite our hotel and I was delighted to find it was like a vegan supermarket! Unfortunately it does sell meat and dairy but predominately the food is all vegan. You can buy frozen goods such as mock meats, vegan pies, vegan cheese, vegan ice cream and more! You can buy fresh fruits, veg, vegan snacks, vegan chocolate, vegan beauty products and so much more! When I entered the store, the lady at the counter mentioned that all the staff were vegan and how excited she was that the message was spreading. When she heard I was a vegan, she highfived me :) she told me to join a Facebook Group called Cairns Vegans for more information and even recommended vegan places in town. Go check this place out for lots of vegan goodies! I bought stuff I couldn't get back home!
