Unique Breakfast - Edit
Popular place in the village of Hartford just outside Northwich. We tried the place because it was right near our b'n'b and on the first day we got turned away because it was so full! We went back the next day and we were glad we didn't miss out on it because the vegan breakfast was particularly special.
Read moreUnlike what you can often find at chain pubs, the breakfast here had obviously had a lot of time and attention taken to it. It consisted of vegetable based sausages, hash browns, strips of vegan cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans and a doorstop style slice of wholemeal bread. It was one of the tastiest cooked breakfasts I've had, especially as it was focused around veggies.
The coffee was also particularly good. Highly recommend if you're in this area but definitely advise booking.
Pros: Tasty breakfast, Cosy place
Cons: Could have had more vegan options, Not all vegan, Bit on the pricy side

Great tasting food - Edit
Some great tasting options on both breakfast and daytime menu plus full milk alternatives make this a great option to go to with Omni friends. The staff are really helpful and accommodating to boot!

Excellent vegan choices in a small village - Edit
I love this cafe / restaurant. The food is always great. Excellent vegan options. Always more than one choice on the menu. Great coffee. Local suppliers and good value. Introduced a special meatless Monday menu recently

Vegan oasis - Edit
There's not a many places in this area offering vegan food or even plant milks to put in your tea, so although they serve meat here, it's a vegan oasis. Being independent and having excellent friendly service are just a bonus.
Read moreI went for the naked salad bowl which was pretty good and a bit different.
The south-west facing enclosed front patio area is perfect for these l late summer afternoons, and has space for 3 or 4 bikes so there's no need to lock them.
Pros: Interesting twists on old vegan favourites, Good range of plant milks, Cycle parking
Cons: Serves meat, Not a huge range of vegan options
