Read moreThere are some decent options here, and on the recommendation of other reviewers, I also had the nachos. They were really yum - and had lots of vegies in the sauce. So it actually felt nutritious, with zucchini, carrot, and greens in there. I noticed a few sweet and savoury options in the cabinet and on the menu. They were only too happy to check for me on their specials (one of which appeared to be vegan).
Great indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly and helpful staff.

Really yum food, very helpful, free swaps. I had avo on toast with really delish potato and dukkah. Vegan salads, slices, nachos, savory breaks.

Vegan friendly cafe in Whitianga - Edit
They offer vegan breakfast burrito and beans on toast options, plus they have vegan cakes and slices available in the cabinet. Very friendly staff, plus there was a cute cat hanging around which was a bonus. A bit pricey but there aren't a lot of vegan friendly places around so it was worth it.
