Dr. Jekyll & Dr. Jekyll - Edit
Split over two sides of the same building, one part being the deli and one the cafe, this place more than warrants its stellar reputation among the locals.
Read moreFirstly, I ventured into the bustling cafe and was greeted by extremely welcoming and friendly staff who seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing. The food, though a touch pricey, was superb. Every element of the vegan brunch was spot on, the sourdough bread for the PB & J was insane and the coffee was outstanding, too. Next, I took the short hop over to the deli and, again, was met with the same level of enthusiasm as before. Significantly more clam and relaxed than its counterpart, this was a very well appointed shop with gorgeous outlook. I had severe difficulty in choosing things to sample as there was plenty to choose from, but settle on the raspberry, apple and vanilla scone as well as the raw snickers bar: both were equally sublime. I know for a fact that if I lived in the area, a large proportion of money would be spent here on a regular basis.

Vegan Fry - Edit
I love a vegan fry, this isn’t the best I’ve had but it was so filling and tasty. Charges for alternative milk😒

Veggie rolls (no sausage edit) - Edit
Got a very unusual, brocolli-filled take on a vegan sausage roll here today, with a side of Ballymaloe relish. Not bad but did cost £8, which I think is pricey.

Nice scones and coffee - Edit
I went to the deli with my two toddlers and we had scones and coffee/ baby cinos which we enjoyed. A few days later we went to the larger cafe next door with my husband. It was really busy but they squeezed us in. We had the vegan breakfasts which were nice and filling and tasty. The quesadillas sounded good but were unavailable that day so we’ll need to go back!

Really satisfied - Edit
there was a good amount of vegan options, i got a smoothie with coconut milk which was really nice. They have other meals and deserts that are vegan but i dont think its a whole lot.
Read moreThey have a little shop with lots of sustainable goodies in it which is soo nice to see.
My only complaint would be that my smoothie came in a plastic disposable container even though i was sitting in!
Would go to again.

Mot mot mot - Edit
Excuse the celebrity Juice reference in the title. This marina located place is a deli, basically meaning you can buy cheese and capers and the like here as well as get them to cook for you.
Read moreCurrently offering a spate of veg items, think most vegan but not sure, decided to try as my ma had raved about the place.
Seemed pretty busy on a weds, allowed 1 person in at a time so you wait outside. Was chilly so I ordered an Americano. I got the tostada ensuring to ask "it's vegetarian, right?" - got the yup so I began waiting. About 10 later the food was ready. Walked back to car only to find 2 bacon rashers nestling on top. Uh oh. So I went back, leaving my coffee to chill.
Happily they made me a new one, evidenced by a wait and offered me another coffee gratis. Nice that all the packaging is eco, or biodegradable.
It's always annoying to get meat served to you, this used to be bane of my life 17 years ago and had to walk out places due to similar, but a better outcome this time round. Was worried they'd just pick the bacon off and get a laugh at veg idiot eating bacon juices, but appears not to be case.
Tostada was as picture, healthy and not bad tasting, different from the heavier fare I'm usually reviewing.
Slightly pricier than I'd like as well, coming in at £10.10 for a small ish - but tasty - meal and one black Americano to go.
Possibly most varied veggie menu for Bangor though, if you don't fancy a pizza.
Pros: Local and unique , Deli
Cons: Slightly pricy

Great seaside spot - Edit
Friendly wee seafront cafe. Cosy and warm on a blustery wet Monday lunchtime. 4 or 5 vegan options on the menu. I had a vegan slice from the cabinet with a selection of salads. A few vegan sweet options. I had a raw carrot cake. I'm not a fan of dessicated coconut but otherwise it was an elaborate offering. Good coffee too. Sells some vegan sausages and fudge to take home. Clean. Good wc. Street parking. Good options for the omnivores. Second visit was on a Saturday. Very busy but managed to get seated. Noisy too but we just wanted a quick tasty vegan lunch and that's exactly what we got 👍
Read more28/3/21 download their app and order. Several vegan options. Some in my pics. Devil's advocate is a fried seitan thing. Dense and tasty. Would compete with a breakfast bap/soda. Salads good, probably a wee bit of oil. So not so good for WFPB folk but a rare and welcome vegan treat.
Pros: Friendly, Tasty, Several options
