Vegan options on menu but staff not clear on what is and isn’t vegan - Edit
Went to the Greyhound for lunch today. It’s a beautiful, country pub in Essex and the staff are extremely friendly.
Read moreOnline, there is a clear vegan menu however, when you get there, also there are dishes marked clearly (ve) when my meal was originally brought out it had a Yorkshire on it which clearly wasn’t vegan. So just make sure if you go there, you check and check again with staff that everything on your plate is vegan!
They have some good options, vegan sausage rolls and soups to start, moving mountains burger and roast for main. A lovely place to spend the afternoon, just make sure you clearly let them know your dietary requirements even if the dish says it’s vegan.
Pros: Beautiful pub
Cons: Staff not clear on veganism
