Delicious food and lovely space - Edit
Went here with the fam and it was great. Lovely food and you can see all the salads to choose from. The tiles on the floor are beautiful and the whole space is hung with lots of great art. Only negative was that the lift wasn't working but my parents managed to heave the double pram up the stairs so no problem!

Best vegan sausage - Edit
Vegan Brunch was delicious and filling although I wanted more. 😋Best vegan sausage I’ve tasted in four years of being vegan. 💚

I agree. They use This Isn't Pork sausages, and they are great. Available in most supermarkets.

Great food - Edit
Love this little gem of a place. My favourite was definitely the nut roast with a lovely spicy salsa. We had a plate of salads to share and as the coleslaw wasn’t vegan-only veggie they put it on a separate plate for my wife😄

Lovely - could easily be fully vegan - Edit
We missed this place last time we were in Shrewsbury as we search for vegan eateries first.
Read moreYou enter to a staircase, which leads upto to the huge seating area. It's light and airy with friendly staff and lots of artwork on the walls.
We ordered a vegan sausage sandwich, mushrooms on toast and 2 oat lattes. This came to the impossibly reasonable price of £12. The food arrived promptly. It was basic but lovely, well cooked and seasoned and served on home made bread.
The menu is classic cafe fayre and could easily all be vegan, but for now, the vegan options are clearly labelled, as are the gluten free options.
Nice place for a lunch or breakfast.
Pros: Very inexpensive , Nice premises
Cons: Could easily be made all vegan

Tasty, filling and good value - Edit
Great, and in the centre of town. This spacious cafe is a fantastic place to relax, eat and drink and offers a good variety of vegan and vegetarian options. The breakfast is fabulous and sets you up for the day! If you're visiting Shrewsbury, you should visit The Greenhouse Cafe.

Genuinely the best Vegan breakfast I've had! - Edit
This was our first ever visit to Shrewsbury and we heard about The Greenhouse from this app.
Read moreSo glad we went!
I got the vegan full English, with no tomatoes. And a pot of tea (leaves rather than bags) with oat milk.
We got 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks for £17.
Where we live we usually pay about £9 for one vegan breakfast without a drink, so this was a bargain for us!
The food was divine! The nicest vegan sausages I've ever had, and I've been veggie for 22 years! They even make their own ketchup! Which was also yummy!
The staff were super happy and friendly. The space was clean, and welcoming!
We can't wait to go back!
Pros: Really friendly staff, Delicious food, Great Value

Fabulous - Edit
We had a fabulous lunch. Nut roast red cabbage and herby potatoes. Vegan stroganoff - Suitable if you’re gluten intolerant as well. Tasty puddings. Nice airy spacious room.

Good but could be better - Edit
Great to see a fully veggie place but I felt a lot of the options on the menu could easily have been vegan or have the option of being vegan.
Read moreHalf the menu wasn't available when we went yesterday so that was even more limiting, however staff are super friendly and the desserts, which ALL come with a vegan topping option, we're incredible!

Great vibe! - Edit
Myself and my Mum called in at The Greenhouse Cafe whilst in Shrewsbury and it was wonderful! Lovely, lovely staff who were very helpful and chipper and the food itself were delicious. Quite a few Vegan options, I didn't struggle at all to find something to eat, neither in mains, sides or puddings and the drinks were great too. My Mum was delighted at ordering a cup of tea and receiving it in a pot so she could have a few cups, we realised this isn't something that's really ever offered anymore. Really interesting building too, beautifully decorated in purchasable artwork!

Visited 5/2. A busy lunchtime but the restaurant doesn't feel cramped because of well spaced tables, high ceiling and light. A good variety of choices from which we had a goats cheese quiche and nutloaf( both accompanied by the awesome braised red cabbage). A delightfully moist and flavoursome chocolate and beetroot cake with vegan custard followed. Prompt, friendly, professional service. Good value.

Healthy plant based vegan menu with no processed additions. - Edit
Delicious, home cooked plant based food. Plant based, as unlike vegan menus, there are no junk food processed fake meats on the menu. Just wholefoods and cooked from scratch.
Read moreI totally forgot to take photos of our meals, as we were so delighted to have healthy food to eat, so when the food arrived, we got stuck in. Both dishes were so delicious and we will definitly be making this one of our stops on way home to the New Forest from north Wales.

Amazing food and friendly staff - Edit
I had a vegan breakfast here and it was fab. They made scramble tofu like I hadn’t had it before, with herbs instead of Kala namak and turmeric which was different. They made their own sauce in the baked beans and own tomato sauce condiment too. Staff were happy and friendly. I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend. 👍

Lovely vegan find - Edit
This is a vegetarian and vegan cafe. All vegan meals are marked with a “V”. Very friendly staff. Not a huge amount of choice for vegan but enough, caters more for vegetarians than vegan but it was a start. We had the soup of the day which was mushroom and it was delicious. The bread is vegan and we were served dairy free butter. I asked the manager to recommend any other places to eat that are vegan in the town but she really didn’t know. There was one vegan cake in the menu served with vegan ice-cream or cream.

Cons: Quite Expensive , More veggie rather than vegan
