I was there for dinner and could have cried because of the good food. After a lot of bocadillos, French fries and salad the sweet potatoe and garbanzo bean curry and samosas where a delight.

"Vegan food made with love" 🥰 - Edit
As their business card says, it truly is "vegan food made with love." It was so tasty we went back the next day. I would suggest booking a reservation or be willing to sit with people you’ve just met as it gets busy very quickly being one of the only fully vegan places in Santiago filled with pilgrims, tourists, and locals. But hey, you might make new friends, which is exactly what I did with my partner and another lovely couple from the Camino! A table of 2 became a table of 4 😃
Read moreShanta and her daughter Kashna who run the place have done an excellent job to provide seasonal options in an adorable and cosy setting very close to the cathedral in the city centre. The menu changes so what’s on it now, may not be in the coming months. There are limited choices on the menu but I tried just about all of them and I was super impressed. I also liked that the menu shared a bit of history/context about each dish and its flavours. I actually liked that there weren’t too many choices on the menu but that might be a con for some. I enjoyed the empanadas and the lo mein the most as they were packed with flavour and were large portions. Cheers to opening a vegan place for all to enjoy! Read moreThis place clearly caters for tourists who just want vegan food, however unexciting, and makes no effort to show non-vegans how delicious plant-based dishes can be when made with a bit of imagination. The non-vegan in our group was distinctly unimpressed, and none of us will be returning.
The menu is very limited but the owner apparently changes it quite often. On our visit there were three starters and three mains. We tried all the starters and two of the mains. I wish I could be more positive but none of the dishes was interesting in terms of taste or texture. One of the starters, sweet potato falafels, were virtually inedible due to their dryness and lack of taste.
With food like this veganism will never break out of its minority niche.

This place is really cute and cozy. The waitress was nice. Is was completely vegan. They had 3 tapas and 3 dish. They all seems quite simple. I chose the empanada and noodle. They were good but not so special. The price for tapas is 4 while the dish is 8 euro.

Ese día era todo vegano, pero había moi poucas opcións e ademais eran moi caras en relación coa cantidade e calidade de comida que era. Tamén tivemos que sentarnos na barra a pesar de que non había tanta xente. Creo que debe estar orientado a peregrinos se non non entendo. Marchamos con fame.

That day everything was vegan, but there were very few plates to choose from and they were quite expensive in relation to the quantity and quality of the food. We had to sit at the bar despite not being too many people there. I think it must be aimed at attracting pilgrims. We left still being hungry.

When my husband visited the Green House, we were both craving something cozy and delicious, which is exactly what we were served. This place served international food, most of which seemed to be from Asian countries. They have a cute outdoor seating area, but it is slanted, so beware. The tables are level, but the chairs are not. We tried the Thai noodle dish, curry, and potato cakes. All the food was so delicious and the customer service was nice. After the camino, it was so nice to have some vegan options!

Pedimos los tres entrantes, brochetas de verduras (muy buenas) empanada de verduras (buenas) falafel con boniato (más seco de lo deseable pero bueno de sabor) la comida bien, el trato…nos preguntó si queríamos algo más cuando aún teníamos comida en la boca, dijimos que no y nos retiro la mesa, no pudimos ni limpiarnos la boca al terminar de comer, hizo lo mismo con la mesa de al lado, nos fuimos enseguida por que entendimos que quería que nos fuéramos (eran las 8:30, una hora después de abrir)
