Menu is typical Gujarati, with plenty of options for vegans and those who eat cheese. It is quite close to a large Jain community, so specificity about vegan dishes will not confuse the staff one bit. The menu is primarily what they call "snack food," and many of the dishes can easily serve as a small meal - combine a couple plates and you'll be plenty satisfied. Think of it as tapas, if you're coming from the West. The restaurant is part of a small boutique hotel and is centrally located across from Sidi Saiyad Mosque. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-11:00pm.

Excellent Vegie Place, many vegan dishes - Edit
I love the atmosphere here. Very good traditional Indian dishes. Very communicative towards vegan demands. 🙏

Ok - Edit
The menu has a good range of local Gujarati food but it's very expensive for what it is. It's not cooked with much care but the prices are high. Better to go to Swati Snacks.

Good food! - Edit
I really liked this place, quite a few vegan options and staff being helpful and knowledgeable about veganism. I too was here with VegVoyages (same group as Sonja and Dirk), but on my last evening I was on my own and had a very delicious dosa. The hotel was absolutely wonderful, too (but that is a different topic).

good - Edit
As part of our VegVoyages tour, we stayed at the House of MG, the hotel attached to the restaurant. Breakfast was included for us and it was buffet style while you could also order dosas and uttapams which were tasty. We also ordered snacks for an early dinner since we arrived a day early. The waiter understand our request for non-dairy and we got several plates to share. The restaurant is outside, but covered with a lovely waterfall wall.

decent - Edit
the food is good, but the price is not so good, compared with restaurant prices in india. i got a juice & a main dish with bread, and after adding in the tip, the total came close to 10 us dollars.
Read morethe best thing i had at the green house was the musk melon juice. unfortunately, it came in a small glass and cost around 2.50 us dollars.
Pros: juices
Cons: price, not all vegan

Nice little oasis in A'bad - Edit
Nice little courtyard setting for a meal, but a little too informal if you're looking for a long relaxing meal. More of a tapas-type place, from a western perspective. Food is nicely prepared, and service is friendly.
